wouldn't you still have to sew the fabric to the zipper? what if the stitch between the fabric and the zippers broke? seems like unneccesary extra work to me.Pete wrote:input: instead of stitching the panels, use zippers around every pents that way we can just unzip to replace a busted panel or to replace filler etc..i had that idea a while back. it would rock.

I think what is being referenced is the $60 abshire bag with the Tungsten filler and whatever. I think I met someone named Philip awhile back that had 1-2 of these. They were very small (about the size of earlier Peng bags, if not smaller) and very heavy, like above 50 grams and such. I remember they were tightly stitched too, since the the panels were pretty puffy. Also, I think I felt a broken in one, and it felt pretty dreamy. 
Pretty cool bags imo. I'm sure Richie is preparing himself to better the quality and performance of these bags right at this moment.
