"Meantime"
Hi,
Im almost certain there is a name for this, but none the less, I took the liberty of introducing my simple concept to Melbourne footbaggers and Singaporean footbaggers. You say "there is lots of 'meantime'" when the main components of a move are performed with ample spare time before the bag is delayed or kicked. For instance, you might say " abit of meantime there" when referring to a move or you could be more specific and say "there is 1 second of meantime" (The time between the last second last add and delay or between the last add and the kick).
As I said, I am sure there is a well known name for this, I am curious, fill me in.

Do you mean like an uptime dlo sorta? Like if I were to do a Dlo "SET", then there would be a lot of meantime before my delay?
I can think of uptime swirl. When I do an uptime swirl, there is a ton of time for the delay and it often throws me off for the delay. Is this what you mean by "meantime?"

Hey Ollie!!! I have a bag for you! - Send me an email with your address!!
That's a cool concept - I think I understand. I think a good example is sometimes I hit smear as a bail out of assassin - when I don't quite set high enough - so I try and hit an assassin and the set doesn't come up as high as I wanted - so I skip the duck and just hit a mirage out instead - so I have like a chest high pixie set - then a big amount of "meantime" before I do the mirage.
Another good example is sailing - especially when I'm trying to hit a fairly hard sailing move - if the set isn't right - I will bail to a toe - so we have an uptime pixie switch or smudge - then heaps of "meantime" before the stall.
When these things happen - I tend to pass it on like I'd "the'd" a move - because I'm bailing from what I wanted to hit - I guess it depends who I'm playing with and how early in the run it is - like if I did a meantime move on the first move - I'd probably just try it again - after all I haven't dropped the bag and I'm still doing genuine guiltless moves - I think it's ok to keep going - but if I did it on the 20th or beyond contact of a run - I'd definitly either pass it on or try a really stupidly hard move to make up for it.
Good work Ollie!

Describing a move as:
Stupid hard
Stupidly hard
...Makes me laugh so hard. It just sounds so funny.
I remember andrew grant saying: Fusing butterfly on its own is stupid hard!
And now Jeremy with "...or try a really stupidly hard move..."
I don't know, it just sounds so funny.

i think he means how much time you have to delay or kick the bag after you finish all the dexs, spins, etc. on one vid (i think budas best) in the vasek live section he hits something and has a lot of time for the clip delay after dexing the bag downtime.
