any changes that would make it better are appreciated

Just wondering about this... I'm pretty sure of the answer but I should ask anyways... say I want a billion shades of grey, that can't be done with just one black screen right? I'm figureing no because the screens are basicly paper with the image cut out so the paint goes in the right spot right?Spadrick said it best! Expense. When designing a t-shirt logo, or any logo to be printed, each color becomes one screen or layer. For each screen, the printing cost more money, prices depending on who you go through.
AndTechnically, there are 256 (0-255) shades of grey
Fine, ruin my dreams of making a shirt with a big black dot in the middle that fades to whiteAbout the screens and greys etc.... Each screen will usually run between $20-$30 depending on who you use. So if you used all 256 colors of grey you'd be running about $6400 before the ink ever touched a shirt.
