I think I lost my 9th bag.
It was an all blacky sack 32 named Tank since the black ultrasuede I had was super duper thick. I am pretty sure I left it in Jared's van in Ottawa though he couldn't find it.

Also, I was making my 10th bag out of my remaining material scraps and it was going to be crazy and beautiful and I lost it last night. I was 1/3 done. What the hell is happening to me?

I started making a pink/baby blue crushed panne 32. It's such a messy material to work with relative to facile. I started making this one to appease the itching in my fingers. I love making footbags.

I can't believe I can make 32 panel bags. Hurrah!!!

I am going to go stab some more fabric.

You can hit blurriest on command, right? You invented the moshing set, right? Seriously, if you can do that, you can quit. When you get the urge to toke up, go shred it up. I know you can do it. And that`s not just an expression, I actually know that you can do it. If you want it, you can definitely do it.

So I read that I and I was all 'Yeah! dammit I can hit anything!! In fact, I am going to hit janiwalker."

I tried like.. a bajillion times and got kiiiiinda close sometimes. I know alot of my attempts probably looked silly, but so did my first attempts at double downs.

I even gave a few joke attempts at nemesis, I intend on hitting it both sides one day.

I did have a few barraging sets actually work and pop out cleanly just like Ive seen the pros do. They felt kiinda like I had imagined, I wonder what mine look like.

I had always wanted to see some good footage of me doing double downs. In that small KFM video Jared edited that I posted a page back or so I did a paradon and a barfly and I chopped up that footage and I made it into this movie:

After not getting janiwalker down I started playing around with other tricks. I was determined to hit something new instead of smoking weed.

I wound up realizing that the motions for motion made alot of sense to me!

I kept getting reaaallly close on both sides and then totally wound up laying down clean sealed motion's on both sides.

This was exciting, but I was hungry for more. I wound up laying down FAR motion on one side and then on the other side on my next try. I have now done that with atomsmasher, blender and far motion and maybe a few others. I love that feeling.

And holy shit, speaking of loving feelings. I love the feeling that I am deriving from playing the same three song on repeat.

I have been playing them for a couple days now and I could go forever.

I am playing these three Arcade Fire songs that are totally blowing away my previous ideas of what could be accomplished emotionally with music.

I can't stop looping them. They feel so amazing.

They just intensify and exadgerate all the things I am feeling right now.

I think I am sorta pretending I don't feel that Vida isn't around. This whole Vida experience is pretty overwhelming, I havn't written about it nearly as much as I have felt it.

She is seriously so much more incredible than I can ever describe here, that's why I write so little, for fear of misrepresenting her.

I think the best/safest/truest thing I can say is that I am so very happy I found someone that geninely makes me happy!


Oh yeah, back to what I was saying. I hit the far motions because Ken inspired me to just get the frig up and shred instead of sitting on my ass getting baked like always.

So I hit them maneouverinos and then drank me some low-carb beers and smoked a bunch of weed, I earned it!

Oh! I just remembered, before hitting all the motion stuff, and after trying the barraging stuff I found out that I had accidentally learned a good blazing set! Neat!

I hit blazing infinity both sides which felt really cool.

So how about that, my body moved around the bag in SIX different ways that it had never done before tonight.

I am going to hit blazing barfly real soon and it will be clean.

How can blazing barfly be sooo untouchable yet a million people can lay down blurriest's?

Oh, I guess I also hit my first ever clipset ss symple swirls today. I know I tried a few symple rev swirls but I don't remember if I hit any.

I am going to go study Derek Vandall's barraging set. I must learn it, I am happy how little stress it seems to put on my knees.

OH! I just remembered, I called some fabric stores today and TWO can order me some ultrasuede.. hmm.. in retrospect *i* can order me some ultrasuede. I am just lazy I suppose. No, it's not that. I always go to the site and try to go through with it and something prevents me from buying some facile. One day... soon.

Also, today I was walking along downtown and I noticed this dude in front of me wearing modded lavers!! I caught up to him and called out "do you play footbag??" that got his attention and he turned and stopped (sorta, we kept drifting) and we talked a bit about footbag. I had my lavers on too. His name was Zack and he said he used to play with all the old Kingston guys that I sorta know. He had green on white-turned-yellow lavers with the lacing mod. He looked alot like caleb abraham.

I told him about the club and told him that if he ever wanted to play that he should look me up on .org. sigh.. I bet he never will.

It is 3:30 AM I am going to bed.

A bag just came in the mail!!!

Claudia Gucciardi from montreal mailed me a 32 panel crushed panne footbag she made! It looks totally awesome, it's cool seeing a crushed panne 32.

I think she is afraid that I am going to have bad things to say. or that it will break or something. RIght now all I feel is gratefulness for the sweet ass bag! It looks really pretty, it has blue pents on white hexes, it's adorable.

I am going to go make a bag and mail it to her.

Back when she originally made this bag for me (many moons ago) I couldn't stitch yet, but now the tables have turned and I can return the favor.

Footbag stitching is such an easy way to give people joy!


Oh you guys gotta hear about this crazy project that my friend Sandy is masterminding that I am a part of.

Ok.. so she is making this surface that depending where I land and how hard I land it will produce either different drum samples or fucked up noises or whatever. We are going to set up some routine for me to do, I have to perform for 5-10 minutes, while she fucks with the output from me playing in real time.

We set up one of the sensors last night and it actually totally works. This is going to be bitchin.

I have all these dreams of putting it back in the abandoned part of my house and setting it up as a musical instrument I can go and jam on whenever I want and make fucked up music.


I will make sure we film our performance and post it here when I can.

It's strange, there are so many things I don't tell anyone in life yet I lay nearly everything out here for you all to see. You all know me so much better than nearly all the people I know in real life.

I think I was semi-concious of that the whole time at GLASS. It was a little strange knowing how much everyone knew about me because of this thing. It didn't appear like anyone hated me because of this so that's a plus.

I am really scared that some crap I have put in here will come back to haunt me.

In fact, that kinda already happened, something I wrote put me in an akward situation that could only be resolved with some delcate explanation.

Bah, I don't even care. This blog is just a literal translation of the shit that goes on around me that I feel fitting to put in here. I'm not an angel though, so it doesn't all look good.

Heres a totally unrelated story from my childhood:

I was playing on the playground during recess, I don't know what pushed me to this point but I wound up peeing my pants. I was "smart" and covered the wet spot in sand and told the teachers I fell in a puddle.

hah. also, did i ever tell you that i know the arcade fire? well... win and regine anyway, 'cause my brother used to play guitar in the band. him and my friends Dane and Brendan were 'the band', until... uh... creative difference i suppose tore the band apart, and win and regine reformed it with the people in it now. the crazy part is that brendan and win lived together, and my brother myles lived downstairs... man - that was tension-erific.

Did you notice that the last few posts by me were all made today? I post so much in my blog because I spend SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo much time on modified and there are never enough compelling topics to keep me entertained so I come here and write a big load of crap.

Also, I keep feeling like I left Tank in your van man. I have this feeling. My hypothesis is that it was sitting between my legs for some reason and then when I got up it either fell to your floor or out the car door.

We both know how "broken in" it was and so it could have very likely rolled somewhere out of sight. Could you have one last look in your van for me? Wait.. did you drive me to the bus in the van or the car?

I just jammed with Derrick on campus.

My knees are wicked sore from all the barraging/blazing/double downs I have been doing. Not sore like injured.. just.. they feel used.

Today I was sitting around after making my breakfast and my friend Sandy came online and mentioned something about there being cross country skiing at this place. I declared that we should go right then and she agreed.

We went and picked up our friend Denise and headed to this conservation area. It was amaizngly close and soooo pretty! There was a fresh layer of snow on everything and the trails were so serene.

It was my first time cross-country skiing, I had always wanted to. It was kinda akward feeling at first but we all got the hang of it. Though I must mention that we *all* bailed several times.

I keep playing that beatboxing harmonica guy on repeat, he's pretty solid.

I bought a ton of lego today and a mr/mrs potatoehead, finally, more toys!

I forgot to mention that I was largely inspired to go skiing after seeing Jared's family being all into it.

It really was quite alot of fun and kiiiiinda like I had always imagined. It was a really strange feeling. Also, I havn't been on skis since I was like.. 12 or someting.

Today was a fun day.

I talked with Claudia and found out that she lied to me yesterday when she told me that the footbag delivery may take a while since she only payed for the cheapo speed. The reason it came today was because she really upgraded to the fast one to make it a surprise. She's so silly.

I am going to make her a real nice 32 to thank her for this sweet one.

On the topic of footbags, Derricks footfighter that he bought off of Aric is SUPER nice now, I am glad that he is shredding with a 32.

I mostly only shred with 32's I have made. I kick the VasekPurpleDot warming up and the shred with Grenaldo. Grenaldo is getting reaaallly nice, I am glad.

I think my 11 bags are due any day now. AS IF I actually won those bags. Hahah, and I realise I really just won the opportunity to pay for them, but at that price I really got a great deal. I find it amazing he is willing to part with so many bags for so little money. I guess thirty dollars in his pocket is more desirable than a big pile of footbags in his closet.

Not to me however.

I feel like talking about footbag.

Thus I shall blab.

Last night Derrick and i invested a bunch of time drilling.
Group drilling was really fun!

He and I are at the exact same level at ducking, I think he is a little better at diving however.

That is so thrilling, I got a guy started at footbag and he has now progressed to the point where he has schooled me on several occasions!

I gueeesss deep down I don't mind that he always shows me up or attempts to, I just want him to understand that in a circle that would be considered rather rude. I don't mind if he does it to me being chummy because it's always good and cool to see him hitting new tricks.

I didn't really talk much about where we played last night though I really shoiuld have, the two locations were frigging sweet.

Derrick bussed over at a little after 7 PM, we caught the 8 PM bus to campus together after watching some shred to get us pumped up.

We snuck Derrick into the gym building via some tricky dodging of guards and a mellow Derrick chasedown on my part.

Our "plan" was for him to head in first and see how he could take some path into the building that meant he didn't have to flash his student card at the student card checker old man dude. (because he isn't a student at my school and thus he has no card)

I saw him head in, head right down a hallway that came before the checker guy and took him down towards the arena where we had shredded once before. I went in, made no attempt at eye-contact with the guard, went right down the same path hoping to see Derrick - no Derrick, dammit!

I thought 'eff it' and headed back through the proper way, flashed my card and headed upstairs to the back doors since Derrick and I had agreed that if he couldn't get in he would run around back to those doors. So I headed up the stairs and just briefly caught sight of him running off, I seriously felt like I was in some Hollywood chase movie because I saw JUST enough out of the corner of my eye to know a person was running. As I crested the step I JUST saw him dive into a recessed doorway.

I ran over and smiled at him and he was like "HOLY SHIT! I thought you were the security guard!"

So from there we headed to the stairwells to fight our way up to the upper dance studio. There is this super amazing dance studio we have always salivated over though it is ALWAYS in use. There is seriously like.. 9 confusing stairwells that take you to different levels and different places in this chaotic building. Luck was with us though because we picked the right one first try, yessss! We should really remember that door. (I don't anymore) We got to the dance studio , there is a long hallway leading to the big metal doors to the studio. If there are people in the studio there are their outdoor shoes sitting outside, there were no shoes however!!

Rejoice!

We gallopped to the doors, gripped the handle and eased open the unlocked doors to the goshdarn prettiest scene ever. The studio is MASSIVE! The walls are lined with mirrors, the lighting is even and shadowless and the floor was a grippy smooth hardwood. We didn't have access to the stereo system but that didn't matter, we had a kick ass training lab.

We played some pretty hilarious games in there. We played a few rounds of a game where you had to kick it exactly twice and then pass cleanly. A good pass was one 'worth going for' It actually worked out really well. We are about the same at kicking too, so the games were very battled. There was a disagreement at one point and we had a 1-kick only hackoff andit was so fun that we decided to start playing 1-kick only. The way we scored it was if you dropped you got a letter until you spelled F-O-O-T-B-A-G hhaha "Ok.. FOO serving FOOTBuh!"


Of course just as our parade was rounding the bend on awesome street THE MAN had to come and harsh our mellow wiith thunder clouds.

He came to lock the room up and kick our asses out. I asked him if I could just book the room out since I was a student. He said I could, just between the hours of 9 AM and 4 PM "Which is to say, not now" I replied. "Yep."

We dressed and then zig-zagged our way through the building until we came to our other best spot.

I think this spot is my new fullout favorite.

It's got two HUGE gym mats!! What a dream come true! I have always wanted one of these. OH SHIT! I now super duper want to put one in my abandoned apartment!!!

This year will be my third year in this same room. It's a pretty awesome room I guess. It has a huge window at one end and that lights up the big openness of the rest of the room during the day. It is 10 feet wide, 20 feet long and 12 feet tall, it's big.

I bet I can make way better use of thise space and shred in here more easily than I can now. I need to reposition stuff.

Next year I am moving into the room that is currently occupied by Ian. That room is the portal to the darkside, it has the door to the abandoned apartment so I can use it whenever I want without waking anyone up.

Right now it is just my shooting gallery and Ian's driving range but next year it's going to be way cooler. I want to have a big couch lounge...

I havn't heard from her since she got to Toronto the night before heading to Edmonton, I really hope she is ok. I refuse to entertain any thought that she isn't.
