josh sent me this a while ago, but I stepped out of the room and forgot about it for a while. He wanted me to verify it's cleanliness. By the time I came back, he signed on. I saw the move, and flipped out!! I think it's totally clean, and it's a ridiculous trick!!!!! I had to call Josh on the phone and tell him how awesome the move was and give him huge props. He asked me to post it. Hope you like it.

if you think about it, that set is harder than barraging, or symp barraging. with symp barraging, you can kinda just set it behind your leg and jump over it. with this set, the bag has to go in front of him, then he has to jump from front to back... the window is much smaller. So if you think about it, this move is harder than nemesis...

I'm far from an expert, but I do illusions in this way as well. It is completely clean because the dex is done like a swirl dex... you are "drawing" a horizontal cone with ur shin around the bag. Whereas ATWs/Legovers/Mirages draw vertical cones.RRendsvig wrote: -- The only concern I have about the cleanness, is wheather or not vertical Illusions are clean - and thus flails etc...
If you notice the illusioning foot is in an "inside catch" type position making it very analogous to a swirl (think of a butterfly swirl, again the swirling leg draws a horizontal cone instead of a vertical one but that is how the trick is done!). This is how we are trying to do the trick, NOT like a legover bailed to opp. toe.
I guess I'm going off on this because someone called my illusions "the" because at the "peak" of the dex my leg is not in front of the bag but rather, above it. It aint 'the', its style. I'm doing it like a non-cross-body swirl dex bailed to opp. toe.
EDIT: I guess it would be more correctly called, a non-cross body REVERSE swirling motion.

I dont know if you can really call that a 'set', but then again alot of the harder sets are near impossible to do as proper 'sets'.
What i mean by 'set' is:
The dex(s) is uptime (not while the bag is peaking or downtime at all)
Your dexing leg plants before the bag begins to fall so that equilibrium can be regained and the second part of the move can be performed well.
Ofcourse there are players around good enough to do almost anything so we end up with examples like this where the set is done almost when the bag peaks and the second part (dod) begins so quickly afterward that the move is possible.
The result generally is that the move is performed sort of 'crammed together', but that cant be helped with a move that is so difficult as this.
Props on that trick Josh, that is absolutly insane
Makes me wana go try and perfect the bubba set

I disagree. For me, it's not crammed together, but rather done in oneBalinorNZ wrote:The result generally is that the move is performed sort of 'crammed together', but that cant be helped with a move that is so difficult as this.
fluid motion. It looks very controlled, and that's what matters. The
barfly wasn't rushed, and ohmygodthismoveissoinsanelycleanandmassive!

I don't think it matters if it's a set. The fact is we're taking the trick, and separating it into two understandable components. Symp Bubba op Double Down.
If you said something like...Alpha Reverse Mofly(I guess), you'd get tons of people saying, "What I don't understand explain this to me!".
The name and trick are clear to understand this way.
