Um...you never memntioned prices for the bands and...
To me, the appeal of the "Live Strong" band and the ones that I've seen that have followed is that they are all about raising money and awareness for non-profit organizations (usually Cancer or AIDS related).
Because of that I am kind of opposed to this idea unless the proceeds go toward an event or the IFPA.

The bands would be 4 dollars (US) each with free shipping (there will also be price breaks). We could raise money for IFPA, but that job I believe would be for them to handle.

Other sports dont need to promote. These bracelets would help promote footbag AND would look cool.

acutally I had an idea.

If you're going to get a big shipment you can't be sure you'll make a profit. Work out how much you'd need to break even on say selling 50% and sell them on at that price. If you sell more than 50% than give the profits to the IFPA - it's very easy to donate money to the ifpa so I'm sure you could manage that. Since you're doing all the work I think it would be fine to take a cut of the profits to compensate you for the work you've done if you want too!

So the wristband sample came in today. The wristband really sucks. I get this big envolope that flat, I feel nothing inside and then I open it and theres this dinky piece of stretchy cloth. So not what I was expecting. Maybe I'll find something else.

This is exactly what I would do. I wasn't suggesting that you'd lose your own money over the deal. I think your time is enough to give. I personally wouldn't keep any of the profit, but can understand if you did keep a bit.
