The last time somebody tried to get in a fight with me I laughed at them and walked away. They never bothered me after that.

But hey do what you want - it's much easier to be violent than peaceful. Maybe the easy way is the way to go? I don't know - I just have very little respect for people who solve their problems with violence. You can mark that down to my upbringing I guess.

I dont personally like confilct...I had metal in my backpack from shop class if i really wanted to fuck him up i would of grabbed one of the big sharp metal pulls from my back pack...He is 18 my way of retalitaion is to get him sent to jail and let his ass get raped..

Getting him sent to jail isn't gonna get him ass raped. All it's gonna do is give him more reason to kick your ass. His parents will probably just come get him out before he even gets into a jumpsuit, that's if they even put him in jail. They'll most likely just serve him with a summons for court (pretty much just a ticket). He'll go to court and probably get probabtion (which his parents will probably pay for). So basically trying to get him sent to jail is punishing nobody but his parents. Sorry to burst that bubble.

I'd usually be with Jeremy on this sort of thing. I laughed off the last 300 lb fat ass that grew a goatee and thought he had become tough shit. But that was before he tried to do anything. Had he tried to do anything I would've stomped his ass anyway. Don't bring your friends into it either. That's a puss' way out. I have no respect for people that need more than themselves to kick my ass. I'll bring friends, but that's only to make sure I don't get jumped. If more than one person jumps me, you know the person that I origionally had the problem with is gonna get fucked up at least ten times as worse next time.

Either way, both are childish. I say get back at him in very embarrasing ways. Does he have a car? Eggs will go bad in his exaust. Does he have a girlfriend? Get one of your friends that are girls to tell her friends about how he was trying to spit game to her and how he invited her to __________. Just find shit to do that people will remember forever. Ruining a reputation lasts alot longer than some cuts and bruises (sp?). It's alot funner too. Get your football friends to strip him to his boxers and duct tape him to the flagpole. That one is always an ego distroyer. People will remember him forever.

WTF I think that if you beat the shit outta a kid, you're not gonna do anything but make him HATE you and want to find a way to get the shit beaten outta you AGAIN. I like Mike's idea-- well, sorta. I don't think running up and hugging him is gonna do much except freak him out and leave you open for a good ol' roshambo (shot to the nuts, for the uninformed). Why don't you find him in a public place where an open display of ass-whooping isn't gonna get him anywhere except in trouble, and explain to him what you did and what he did and try to resolve the conflict? Also, I wouldn't suggest finding him when he's with his friends, or he'll feel a need to justify himself and will probably just be a dick. Perhaps explain it to the principal and have him called to the office?

How about we settle this in a fight asshole?

Drop the matchoistic bullshit. If your beating the shit out of someone, I doubt they'll be thinking "Wow, I'm getting my ass kicked, but only by one guy and not a group of them. I really respect this guy now."

If you are going to use violence to try and solve this issue, you might as well beat this guy to the point where he doesn't mentally want to fight you again. One good asskicking won't do anything but keep the cycle of violence going which isn't a good thing.

Beating his ass to the point were he doesn't want to fight again isn't an option. If it was just one person maybe, but not a group of friends that have nothing to do with the origional situation. All that that's gonna do is make 18yr old get some of his friends and beat the shit out of Cody for calling his football friends in to beat the shit out of him. And on and on and on.

Fighting is a respect issue. Nobody fights for any other reason (except assholes) than respect. 18yr old wants to fight Cody because he thinks he disrespected him by spitting in his drink. If Cody wants to fight him it should be alone. Have your football friends there to make sure you don't get your ass handed to you, but don't have them do it. Where's the respect in saying, "Yeah. Well I disagree - I think fighting is immature. I think it's much easier - especially for guys - to get in a fight rather than to actually discuss and attempt to sort out what the issue is. However clearly fighting doesn't solve the issue at all. How can finding out who is stronger and a better fighter have any relevance to the issue they're fighting over? Unless it's a debate over who is a better fighter it will achieve nothing.

Children fight - adults don't. Of course there are always childish adults who don't grow up - and that's sad but I really have no respect for those people.

The attitude that you can solve problems with violence or that being stronger than somebody else means that you're right and they're wrong seems to be a strong part of American culture and I think it's probably part of the reason why American's get stereotyped the way they do (ie. stupid, loud and arrogant).

Id just find his phone number and give his house a call. talk to him and explain what happened. If that doesn't work because either you or he is a dick, then you both deserve to be fucked up in epic battle.

Actually, everything that you do while under the age of 18 will not stay on your record once you turn an adult or your record will be closed to empolyors. That doesn't inclued the big things such as murder and etc. I might be wrong but thats the way I understand it.

My personal thoughts on this matter is that fighting solves nothing. It's just going to feed the situation and make matters worse.

What going to happen when he gets his tough friends and they beat you up without your football buddies their to save you?

Well i did one thing...i walked up to him and his gf was with me...she broke up with him because im her best friend and she doesnt want someone hitting her friends...he then apoligized and gave me 20 dollars...so i had to run out to the parking lot and grab the potato that was in his tailpipe...so yea alls good
