Most memorable moments of the tournament
Worlds were very well organized and very spectator-friendly. The most memorable moments for me were:
Tina's last combo in her finals routine. It was totally devastating. I really hope that the video will become available soon.
Vasek's 1st round and semifinal shred30 routines. Amazing tricks done at amazing pace. Nobody else could get even close to that level.
Peter Irish warming up for his finals routine. He did very long strings of difficult tricks without any problems. He also joggled three bags with his feet for a long time.
Doubles net finals and especially Emanuel's saves. There were many occasions when the Germans spiked the bag hard and the German crowd already yelled 'Yes!' but still Emanuel managed to catch the bag.
These moments really showed how incredible sport footbag is. Many thanks to organizers, hopefully we'll see more great tournaments in the future!

Zi worlds
I totally agree with you all... these worlds were really awesome... Nice people, nice shreds, nice everything... Really anxious to see the vids..
The organizing was good too. Could have been more public, though, but hey, that's not an issue if everything else went well.
Anyways... high props to the finnish activists who made it possible and all the players who made it real!
Til' the next big tourneys!

Vasek was hitting crazy shit (surprise, surprise): Blurry whirling swirl BSOS, stepping whirling swirl, spinning whirling swirl - all in the same run!! And scorpions tail swirl!
I hit BS blizzard, Fury and Leviathan. I hit 177.81 in shred30! I was so happy! And I got props from Peter Irish! Yay! I also made it to Big3 finals. (I was a bit surprised..). My routine went really good but I still didn't make it to semis...
And big props to Tina! You're gonna be the "women's vaska"!!!
But the greatest moment was when they told that Peter Irish is going to retire from competing
. People stood up and cheered, clapped and whistled for sooo long. It was awesome!
I also played net for the first time. It was really fun! I'm going to start practising it. But freestyle is still the main sport for me
Worlds were really great! I met lots of great people and I can't wait to see them next year!
.. And it's Mikko "Unikko" Lepistö!! (It's a flower)

Yes, Worlds were great. But was there something you didn't like?
Now you can give your feedback straight to the organizers at http://www.footbag.org/worlds2005/feedback.php Don't be shy with the negative feedback. And yes, you can leave it anonymously.
Thanks for everyone who helped organize Worlds as well as for all the players who made it so great.

Well it finally ended unfortunatly.. Im now at the airport surfing modified for free! the internet machine doesnt decrease time on modified for some reason..
The negative highlights of worlds for me, are my ankle sucking, and having a fever for 2 days on the first days of competition, I was going on site and when event was done I was going back to my bed at the hostel...
All the rest is positive! I had a great time doing the trip with Kolo, also Verena and Hania were sharing our hostel room, you girls where really nice also!
There are so many things that I will remember, especially all the 4 square fun.. I managed to create a really surprising move that some people had the fun to witness! Samu and Tom especially!
The net game with Josh against Ken and Riku was really fun also! too bad I had to get my glasses, your chances disapeared then
Riku is also someone I wont forget! Hosting me at his place was really cool of him! You and your family are always welcome in Montreal!
The 2 top moments for me tough where Wiktors dropless routine and is reaction, and also Peters final routine, really a great moment to witness

yeah, I'm with matt, Wiktor's dropless routine was INCREDIBLE!! it was the highlight of competition for me. I can't wait to see it on video. The party on the last night was epic, I'm pretty sure some footage of it will make it on to some video somewhere...
It was so great to meet you all, and play music and footbag and hang out and have the time of my life. Thanks to everyone for being part of it with me. Special thanks to my pal Tom Mosher for doing the whole trip with me... Can't wait for the next one...
