quantum is a toe stepping set. or an uptime miraging set. i am positive you arent hitting that set to anything, much less butterflier consistantly. i have hit one quantum trick and ive been playing 8 months. and i can tell you that the quantum trick i did hit (quantum butterfly) i barely had time for the butterfly. ive never gotten a quantum set even close to high enough to do a flyer after it.

and there is no such trick as quantum pixie.

Yeah, if you noticed, those posts are pretty early in my footbag career, and I actually thought that "quantum" meant "up-time"

I undstand it all now, I just haven't been updating my blog recently.

Edit: For example when I said quantum pixie, I mean't pixie set.

thats ok, footbag terminology is really confusing when you start playing. it took me a while to get it. my advice is to do exactly what you're doing. keep reading these boards all the time (id suggest posting a little less in the shred symposium until you're a little more well versed, this is just my advice to keep you from getting flamed, i got a lot of shit when i first started too) and of course keep playing. watching video and trying to figure out whats being hit is a great way to expand your footbag vocabulary.

Good post !

I wasnt going to flame you, but i must say in all honesty, that i
was annoyed as hell ; the fact that someone, who probably hasnt
hit 10 contacts of mirage>legover yet, has almost 300 post after
2 months is slightly irritating.

But what really annoyed me was that you seemed to put all your
energy and passion into posting ( sometimes not the most enlightened stuff),
rather than into what really matters in this sport : going out and doing it !!!
SHRED SHRED SHRED, you will get better so soon, if you keep at it,
practice both sides equally and have heaps and heaps of fun.

On your way to become good, you will meet other players and learn
from them, by watching, asking and trying out stuff yourself .
YOur knowledge will grow silmultaneously with your game, videos
and shred will be easier to follow and a lot of questions will solve themselves

And i will follow Nel's example and offer you help, if you need it .
I only play for a year myself and the memories of all the difficulties
everybody ( V. excluded ) experiences at the beginning are still fresh .
