Glad to hear you guys are playing well and having fun - especially Caroline - great to know there is a freestyle footbag shredita in Australia :D - Play with you all soon!

The video is comming along slowly.
I find it hard to be inspired by tripod footage so, as a result, it won't be anything fancy.

Being a monday, I'm hoping that all the regulars are going to be present tonight. I haven't spoken to foxy, though I did try to call him last night. I hope his shin splints have recovered.
And I hope Caroline is ready to learn some new stuff!
The rest has been good for my knee, though. I'm still taking 'Glucosamine, Chondroitin & Co-factors Arthritis formula', and 'Omega 3', although not as often as I should - more, whenever I remember. I go back to see the specialists on the 21st of October at 10:15am. Hopefully we can take it a little further.
In review of my knee I'd say that very little (if anything) has changed. My knee still gets weak and sore at times, especially after playing. Walking up and down steps can often be a struggle, especially a day or two after playing.
I'm still a little annoyed at what he said last time - "I can't see any reason why you can't go back to doing what you normally do". It gave me the impression that there was nothing wrong with me when there bloodywell is! And yet, I'm still playing
If I do do these demos, I'm worried as to how my knee (and body) will cope. Ususally we play for an hour or two with a day break. To be at it for two days - 4 hours a day... Hmmmm. We'll see.

Don't waste your knee for the sake of a demo. Take care of yourself... Maybe let the other person at the demo do more than you? So you can rest more? Your health is the most important thing, you need that knee for the rest of your life! ;)

Yeah, don't worry about me. If it gets sore/tired/bad/whatever, then it's over for the day and then I'll take the next day as it comes.

It's just going to be a real prooving ground as to how 'right' my knee is.

On the bright side... if it does go to shit, I've already got a doctors appointment later this month! :D

Tonight was really disappointing for me - footbag wise. I just could not get focused and not having Caroline or Foxy to pass off to was the straw that broke the cammels back.
My clippers were crap. My osis were crap. My pixies were okish - which was crap.
I would try to challange myself to hit something but would only come close and just didn't have the drive to go for it.
There was no music tonight and the Piazza was pretty empty.
If I had fuel for my car I would have come home, grabbed my CD player and taken it back in. I was keen to play and wanted to have a good night but... there was no flow.
I felt pre-occupied with the fact that I NEVER hit anything that could be considered a long run.
Sigh.

Yo gareth

Everyone has those shit sessions, as i am sure you know. It makes the good sessions that much sweeter, you know the feeling bro.

Well jade cruised over my place tonight for some shredding action. I also had my sisters boyfriend play for about 30mins. He hit toe delay>opp toe delay. I gave him one of my sandbags. I doubt he will continue playing but.

The challengers jade hit:

Mirage>pickup rpt
ATW>mirage>legover rpt
His toe game is going well, he is getting the hang of insides.

The challengers hages hit:
Ripwalk>ripwalk (midrun) going from the opposite way it was hit the night before
Ripwalk>blur b.s (mid run of course)
drifter>osis b.s mid run

My best run of the night:
Butter>butter>butter>pdx mir>clip>ripwalk>ripwalk>legover>legover>butter>ducking clipper>pdx mir>dlo>butter>butter>ducking clip>pdx mir>dlo>legover>pixielegover>butter>osis>pdx mirage>legover>datw>legover>drop on flip smear.

Oh yeah
I was mowing my bosses lawn today and his neighbours. This fucking magpie began attacking me. It was viscious. So therefore i decided to wear a motorbike helmet while i was mowing, it is a pretty busy street and i got a fair few crazy looks, but i got the job done.

I wanna see Hagesy shred in speedos and a motorcycle helmet!

I'm sure he'd snap his neck if he tried a diving clipper, but DAMN would that make a good advert for Milo! lol.

Props Hagesy! Cant wait to see your spins.

Spoke to Jeremy on the phone tonight. :D He was just checking to see if I could make it to the demos and stuff. Im so looking forward to this weekend!!!!

Just shredded for a bit. New stuff:
osis>zooming ss osis>osis rpt
far symple swirl>spinning clip (nearly bs, Juho Marjo style 8) )
paradon>gyro mirage bs (hopefully rpt soon)
a phat 22 contact guiltless with some sweet links

new stuff from yesterdays shred:
ducking clipper>mobius bs
other shiz

Well I got my marks back on 2 assignments.
ICT (we had to design a website) - D 8O - this is the worst mark I have ever gotten in my entire schooling history, but luckily, this term we are doing video editing...with WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER!!! A+ here I come  (hopefully)

and

Geograpy - C+. Atlease I passed  I dont give a shit what I get in Geog. Sounds like a bad attitude but Im not going anywhere with that. I was away for a whole lot of lessons so I had like, zilch idea what I was doing.

I did well in most of my other subjects anyway. Maths = B+,
Science = A, HPE = B, English - dont know. I am doing well in all my core subjects which is good IMO.

Pepsi Max is so much better than coke. I dont know why everyone thinks that coke is better. Freakin n00bs.

I soooooooo want a pair of completley black lavers. I will buy them with the demo money and hopefully and fish eye lense, a new skateboard and some new skate shoes.

Family guy is the best ever. I downloaded the movie and some of the unreleased episodes.

Can't wait until shredding with Ken, Jeremy and Hagesy Bro.

Well tomorrow is double science :\. The lamest and slowest of all lessons.

I shredded with Matt today at school. Far out, I dont get why he cant clipper. Sometimes they are OK, others just suck ass. I said this "do NOTHING else until you can clipper". I do help him out alot and encourage him but he is having a really hard time making progress.

Thats my daily ramble.

Peace
-Jesse

Props Hagesy. Go Jade!

James Sir, I heard that one good and proper

Today was soooo hot. I was tired and dehydrated and felt like going home. Came to lunch break and I shredded  . Cameron actually played aswell!

He hit spinning clipper on his flip, bubba>paradon 8O (mega clean), osis>pickup bs and some other cool stuff. He would be so good if he would listen :( As for Matt...His clippers were working today!!! :D They were delaying properly, cusioning correctly, they were looking so much better! He hit clip>opp clip starting bs and clip>ss clip on bs. He was really happy with himself and received some well earned props. Good work Matty! I lent him my Kirra bag for the night cause he was keen to play at home. If he continues to school his clippers this could be the start of something good 8O . My shred wasnt too bad. I hit some new moves:
zooming ss mirage bs
zooming opp butter bs
zooming ducking butter one side (footed on flip)

I was feeling too hot to go hard, though I was happy just schooling Matt.

Saturday is forecast for 36 degrees. Daiiiiiiim. Boy oh boy is this weekend gonna be the shiz.
Hopefully back one day.

Taken from the Ausfootbag forums.
Kiser_Tobias wrote:I thought I'd post a Review thread because there's no point getting all this mixed up with the actuall info.

Both Jeremy and Hagesy were late to arrive in Brisbane. There were waiting around at the airport, waiting for their tickets to be booked!
Caroline picked Jeremy up when he arrived and I met them at Carolines place, just as she was leaving to get Hagesy.
While we were waiting, we watched 'The Lions Den'. - Not a bad little flick, that!

Jesse had Youth Group so he wasn't able to come for a night session and I couldn't get in touch with Foxy. However, the four of us ended up having a session in at the Piazza. It was supposed to be a quiet one, but  Like THAT was going to happen.
We played for almost 2 hours before headding to the pub for a couple of beers.
We were also joined by Caroline's boyfriend, Steve. And 'old skool' Canadian who hit a really cool 'Jedi' trick, among other nice stuff.
Hagesy was really impressive with his consistancy, and Jeremy was just awesome.
I played alright but my knee gave me a little bit of pain near the end, so stopping was a good call.

SAT.
Jeremy, Hagesy and myself had a late night on Friday, but headed off on time for the first demo this morning. When we arrived at the venu we were introduced to the three Milo stall members who were all friendly and easy going. We got our shirts and grabbed a few of the promo footbags to have a look at. (they suck)
There was supposed to be 1500 kids at this place but, by the time we left, they were lucky if there was 100 all up. We had very little intrest, other than the general amazement that footbag brings with it.
Hagesy hit Pixie DLO twice!
It was pretty hot and the three of us worked up a sweat pretty quickly. Caroline and Jesse were pretty late and we ended up organising for Jesse to just meet us at the second demo.

The second demo was looking really bad as far as playing surface was concerned. At the first on it was un-even 'lawn' - the second was like a cow paddock. There was alot of dust, rocks and un-even mounds every where, with just a small level patch to play in front of the stand.
We started out in the hall, just freestyling in the shade and going hard. Much awesomeness from everyone there.
Eventually we had to move outside into the 38Degree  heat. It was more like 42Deg in the shade - and we weren't playing in the shade.
We took turns shredding with Jeremy and myself interchanging with Jesse and Hagesy.
Maybe it was the heat and exhaustion that we were feeling but, at times it didn't seem like the work load was shared equally at first. However, Caroline, Jesse and Hagesy ended up finishing off the demo as the shade started comming in.
There was alot more people at this second event and it was a little frustrating at times as our circle was interrupted by people walking through.
Two incidents did occur - me kicking a girl in the arm who didn't seem to notice and just kept on walking, and a stray footbag brushing a womans face, although she walked away looking like she'd just been slapped. The second incident was due to one of the kids kicking the milo demo bag up high and away, with the bag brushing the womans face on it's way down. - nothing really to it.
Jeremy hit 36 whirls which was way cool.
I was really happy with my run length, generally. It feels boring at times because I feel I have no variety, but when it comes to demos - most tricks look the same to noobs, anyway. So, just keeping the bag up is a good thing.
Hopefully Jesse or Jeremy can post on some of the other highlights that were hit today.

Dispite the farked up heat of the day, today was a good day. Lots of coolness from everyone both in their shred and just in being who they are. I'm looking foreward to playing with Jeremy again, in Melbourne, next year.

One down, one to go. Then I can recover through the week.
