intelligence is the same as memory

This section is specifically for serious non-footbag debate and discussion.

First of all, memory comes easier when exercised regularly.

Second, you are a auditory learner which can differ from other people's learning habits.

Third, intelligence is determined by the "volume and location of the grey matter tissue in [the] brain." http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/20 ... 090419.htm

Fourthly, a person has to want to learn to be able to learn. School is not really the place to compare intelligence, not everyone is interested.

yeah jazz musicians are really just playing things they have learned before in a different order. Improv is just that. School different combos of notes, and put them together in a way that you know will sound good.

How about muscle memory? Are intelligent people better at footbag because the section of their brain that organizes muscle memory (cerebellum?) is more astute? I think this goes to show that many different kinds of intelligence exist. I've always thought footbag requires intelligence because learning how to execute a new move is a lot like problem solving. You have to learn from your mistakes and adjust accordingly.

First of all: It doesn't matter a hit if memory comes easier when exercised or not.

Secondly the grey matter tissue in the brain determines how much and how fast you can process information. It doesn't have anything else to do with intelligence.
Without memory traces there is nothing to process. AND those grey matter tissue cells are build based on your memory traces.
SO, that article you linked there doesn't actually have much to do with this conversation.

Homo sapiens are so intelligent because they have more that grey matter stuff. Animals don't have, they have more more space for senses (like smelling and hearing) in their brain.
I'm not saying that humans would be as intelligent as they are now if we'd have less grey matter, but that is only the processing machine for information. So while we humans have so much processing space we have big memory capasity.
It's all neuropsychology.

Einstein said that if we only use 10% of our brain, and that if we were able to use 100% of our brain, we would no longer need bodies. That's so crazy!
