We have a very diverse group of individuals who use modified.ca to share our common interest. But I am curious to know about the countries and people of where you are all from. What are some things which make you proud of your country? What are some things which people from other countries think are true about your country but aren't necessarily the case? What are some stereotypes you wish people didn't have about your country? And what are some things you wish people knew about where you live?
Through some of my own experiences:
1. The saunas and beers in Finland are true.
2. Not all Canadians love hockey (but I certainly do)
3. Canadians don't hate Americans, only Bush and those who voted for him.
4. We call baguettes French Bread, in France they call our sliced bread American bread.
5. Footbag remains footbag regardless of the country
What does the rest of the world think about Canada?! What do you know or wish you knew about us!?
