I know Jim Penske wants to hit up Worlds. But I'll probably pick Blackberries instead.

How far from the event sites is the Frankfurt-Hahn airport?
Because you can fly with like 20 euros to there from Finland (Ryanair), this would be very, very attracting opportunity if it has good transport connections to the center.

It takes about 1h 45min with a bus and it costs 12€.

http://www.hahn-airport.de/default.aspx ... _bus&cc=en# click Frankfurt on the map and it shows you how to get there.

Haha, if the price really is this 16-17 euros to Frankfurt next summer and then 12 euros from the airport, it'll cost me only like 6-9 € more than a train trip to Helsinki.
If I didn't get the -50% junior/student discounts in Finland, a train ticket to Helsinki would be more expensive.

So the next Worlds are almost like another home games in a row.

Yes, Portland is one of the candidates. I'm quite sure it hasn't been decided yet. Actually, I haven't heard any word of other cities than Portland applying for Worlds 2007. I wont be surprised if Portland wins the bid against any other candidate, considering the last Worlds in US was in 2002 and last in NA was in 2004. We'll see...

I'm definitely going to W2006 and hopefully to E2006 as well. I will go to W2007 no matter where they are.

I want to go to worlds 06, I would be able to afford it and be able to get paid vacation time for a full week!

Anybody familar with frankfurt wanna fill me in on what the city is like and what fun stuff besides endless footbag their is to do. And some info on the language barrier would be cool cause i have no experience in foreign countries at all.

Are the dates on worlds CONCRETE!!

is a website up for this event yet
