Sam said he'll be bringing a bunch of copies of Freestyle Reality to CSS. Is anyone bringing a PS2 or laptop? I've seen the movie part, but it would be fun to watch the "outtakes" section of FR with other footbag people.

I'm down. There'll be no bunkum like Seattle this time, either. It'll be my birthday present to myself.

If you come Thursday, you can come to my school at lunch and have a small shred ;)

(Not really, though). I'm not sure if anyone else will be around all day Friday.

I'll put together an official confirmed list eventually.... Off the top of my head:

Clavens--mostly
Lon
The Genz's
Jim
Moxie
Missoula Crew
Shawn Boyle
Zach Jahner (confirmed? not sure)

Uhh, hopefully it's more than that. Ehh I'll give it time

By the way, I wanted your guys' input, as far as the hotel situation goes.

With the Executive Tower being closed, I called pretty much every other hotel downtown, and the cheapest rate I've gotten so far is $109/night at the Embassy Suites hotel. Would people be willing to pay this? Keep in mind these are suites, so they'll have a pullout couch and either two double beds or one king size bed--they can fit a lot of people. Plus, it's a pretty fancy place--I'm willing to bet they'v got a jacuzzi and whatnot--I can call about that. It's got a free complete breakfast buffet every morning, and free cocktail reception (fancy liquors and stuff) every night.

What do you think?

That sounds like a good deal for a suite

basically 30 bucks a night if you have 4 per room, which im presuming some rooms will have more than that.

Yeah im a little obssesed with jacuzi`s. I practice at my gym and have a shred jacuzi sauna routine. Its the best!

I haven't bought my tickets yet, so I'm not really on the confirmed list yet.

Okay, more hotel updates.

Holiday Inn called back and said they could get me a $99 rate for that weekend. Better than $109.

Also I found this hostel -- http://www.denverhostel.com/home.htm

$13/night for those bunks....

They're both a little over a mile from the hotel. With the hostel, it's unlikely that they have anything fancy at all, and probably don't have a place to shred. I haven't even checked to see if they could accommodate everyone that weekend.
The hotel is of course fancier; you can probably shred there, party, whatever.

What do people think? My biggest worry is that since people will stuff rooms at the hotel, not enough rooms will get booked and she'll come yelling at me demanding money. Is there a way to get around this?

I wasn't sure if I was gonna make it. But I would never miss a CSS. The funnest one was CSS4. We should make it more like that one.

Things that made it great:

indoor soccer arena
phat prize money
Bomb chron
every shredder in N. America should be there.

How many people would be down for a 4 square game that costs 5 bucks to play and whoever wins gets the pot? There couldn't be any unfair voting though.
