Wow... it's been a long week. The math competition went pretty well, but I only managed to get like 7 hours of sleep over the course of three days. I was pretty wiped at the end of it.
I didn't play much footbag at all during it, except for one instance. I was getting little antsy at around 5:30am Monday morning since I had been up all night. I decided to kick around the bag a little bit and somehow hit
blurry whirl on my first try! It was the second time ever I hit it -- the first was with Jeremy at one of the FR filming sessions. It felt really easy and was super-deep. So, I was pretty pumped about that.
I had my first real session tonight and it was
awesome! I played for about 2 hours and managed to hit a few new things.
-gyro dlo both side

-swirl > swirl (thanks Jeremy)
-spinning butterfly swirl for the first time in a long time.
-5 vortexes (first time I've hit them in a long while)
-13 contacts of merkon > no plant clipper [rpt]
-flip inspinning osis
I got close to flip mobius, but didn't manage to hit it. I was going to drill it for the last 20 minutes, but decided not to since I found a
nuclear set. It is still pretty inconsistent since it tends to hit my support leg. I was able to hit
p tap and
muted p tap and footed sumo and matador.
Footbag is fun! Hopefully I can get ahold of Ted tomorrow.
CSS in two weeks!
