http://css7.phasing.org -- Pre-registration (Mike apologizes for it being so late.)

It looks like we'll be having a nice player's party on Friday night at the Breckenridge Brewery, at 6h00pm. You guys'll have free appetizers, and happy hour prices, and hopefully a place to kick. We will also be setting up a registration booth everyone can come register at the player's party if you don't do so beforehand.

See you all there!

Dear KEVIN REGAMEY,

Your CheapTickets flight reservation could not be confirmed by Air Canada and
has been cancelled. Your credit card will not be charged for this reservation.

To book an alternate flight, please return to http://www.cheaptickets.com.

Thanks Air Canada. Thanks for letting me know.

Okay people, what the fuck do I do.

Evan? Might need that ride again...god dammmit, 100 hours road time...

call them and secure a flight for the same price as the one you thought you had purchased. There should be no reason that they would charge you more . . .?

I searched the same flight plans at the site again, and they're all different, and like 200-300 dollars more than before.

ugh

There's a good chance I'm going to bus to Montana, and hitch a ride with the crew there.

Bus schedule:

Depart Edmonton: Wednesday, Feb 22, 6:45am.
Arrive Missoula: Thursday, Feb 23, 10:40pm.

Depart Missoula: Monday, Feb 27, 8:15pm.
Arrive Edmonton: Wednesday, Mar 1, 11:35am.

Yeah. 79 hours of bussing doesn't sound so bad. I mean come on, that's not even 4 days. :(

That said, it's only 272 dollars. CAD. Plus Missoula gas pitching.

Okay, so I'm looking at the Air Canada site...and I can actually get a flight for 70 dollars LESS than the one that I "had" before.

BUT.

It would require that I get into town at 5:30pm on the Wednesday, and depart at 11:30am on Tuesday.

Anyone else planning on getting there earlier, or if possible, is anyone in Colorado willing to put me up for a day before I go to the host hotel?

...orrrrrr not. My bro wasn't here last night to use his credit card...so I had to wait to get my him to book the tickets today.

But in ONE day, the ticket prices have gone up about 450 dollars for me.

What the fuck. How can it jump that much. :?

okay, so as far as I can tell Cheaptickets has now CONFIRMED a flight with United Airlines that ended up being just a bit less than the SECOND flight I was going to choose.

So, I guess I'm going? I'm going to call to make sure this ticket actually exists. :?

Kicked with Barnes today and put together some info:

CSS7 schedule:
Friday, 6pm - player's party @ Breckenridge Brewery
The party has happy hour prices and free appetizers.

Saturday from 11am to 11pm @ St. Cajetan's Church -- Auraria Campus
competition begins at 1pm
awards that evening

Sunday from 11am to 11pm @ St. Cajetan's Church
Full fun day!

Thanks to mapquest and photoshop, I was able to quickly assemble this CSS7 Map (some changes may occur)
http://chrisholden.net/css7map.jpg
It marks the Event Site, Host Hotel, Breckenridge Brewery, Market Street Station, and Sam's No. 3
All are conveniently located in downtown Denver within walking distance of each other.

The weather is predicted to be nice for this event
http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/8 ... undeclared

Stephen or Brad can probably correct or add anything I miss.

I have a basic idea, but I need to check with Brad on something RLQK before I announce anything.

On a similar note, check out the official CSS7 map!

Print out a copy and carry it around with you!
