Congrats Issac on the new record of toe stalls! That's a really great acomplishment!

I've had two sessions sense my last post. The first was a late night, post-performance session at the armory. I was really tired and didn't really hit anything. I attempted atw and hit it BS b/ after hitting it a couple times I couldn't get it again...gotta keep workin on it. I also hit Mirage BS like twice, but again lost it and couldn't really get my feet to do what I wanted them to.

The second session was yesterday afternoon. I kicked with Eric and Kevin in a room at Kevin's dorm. It was a really fun two hour session. Watching them hit their moves really taught me a lot about what I should be doing in order to maintain control over the bag. I hit Mirage BS more times that I ever had in one session, reached 11 consecutive toe stalls, and started getting way better control over my inside kicks. So I was happy with it. All in all I had tons of fun hanging out with the guys and kicking. The low pressure atmosphere really made me feel comfortable with the fact that they are years ahead of me.

Well that's all for now

Peace and newby love,
~Tricia :D

Lets see. I've got most of the stalls down, even though clippers always need work. I've gotten flip clipper>op clipper a couple times and three same side strong clippers consecutilvely and two same weak side clippers consecutively(gotta work those clippers).

Others I've hit:
Mirage(both sides), ATW(both), Legover(both), Pickup(both), Butterfly(both but weak on left), clipper pickups(both), clipper>far legover(strong side), clipper>mirage(both).

Soon to be in the hit list tricks(hopefully):
whril(i got it more like a kick so I don't count it), reverse whirl(kick like whirl), double legover, clipper> close legover, infinity(kick like whirl), maybe paradox mirage and drifter.

So I guess I'm doing mediocre for playing for about a month.

Keep up the practice.

you're doing better than mediocre for a month! and you have a great teacher too.

I got some new stuff since the last post and I've improved on old stuff. Here's some of the new stuff:

Reverse whirl(left)
symposium mirage(left)
paradox mirage(left)
infinty(both)
pendulum(once)
osis(both)
clipper far pickups(left)

And everything I could get before I can now do both sides pretty good. My strong side clippers moved up to 12 in a row. About 5 average. And weak went to 6 as my record and 3 as my average. Toe stall record is now 156. And insides 31(need work).

The lavers all eall modded and the mosher bag should come soon. I hope.

Why aint anyone posting in this blog?To keep it breathing ill post :)

So the last week i didnt shred much at all i was sick i still have rough cough so i dont do intense shreding.Even while i was sick last week i played a little :D hit pdx mirage and flaper bsos maybe something else but i dont remember.

On today's session i practised consecutive clipers got 4 on my left side and 3 on my right side.My goal was to get it them to 5 today but i got tired,i geuss im still weak cuz of the illness.I'll get them tomorrow that's for sure. Also i hit cliper>dragon and dragon>cliper bs,will practice this too. This week ill train clips and dragons mostly cuz rough shred makes me cough and i get the feeling that my lungs will come out through my mouth.

Dont know why but i enjoyed streching so much today,i always stretch before session and after about 30-40 mins.

Going to order laver's from Lon Smith this week for sure.Still need to decide what colour i want red or dark green.Though my dad is afraid that
someone can steal money if i send money via mail,is it possible?

I hate being ill,but even in bad things there a little peace of good. While i was ill i had time to think about alot of stuff, i decided to quit smoking and found lots of useful info about streching and stuff if anyone is interested i can write a few streching exercises .Also read a book that changed my outlook on life completly :)

lon has red lavers?! damn, i want em... but yeah, its possible for someone to take the money in a sealed envolope... but its unlikely.. just get a money order, theyre only like a buck or so, and they work like a check, and work great for overseas purchasing... another good way to pay ppl online is with paypal. its a free account, and is done completely online. very simple.

sorry to hear youve been sick. get well soon

Yay im feeling better and better!Soon ill be able to shred wildy again :D
I was going to get my consecutive clipers today to 5 for both sides. But in school on computers class i downloaded the 4-square freestyle reality movie and got inspired to learn pendulum, though i watched it like 10 times now (it's my favourite video) but i decided to learn pendulum only today.Thought i will work on it for some time and get on with clipers.Ended up with training it for almost 2 hours :D

At the start i couldnt do one in 10 times, by the end of the session i did 4 pendulums in a row pendulum>pendulum>pendulum>pendulum and i do them consitently now.Thought out of a lil combo to show in school tomorrow
toe>atw in>forehead[del][uns]>pendulum looks good =) my dad liked it :P

Gonna keep practicing it for some time i really love this move.
How do you think should i learn it on my flipside?

Hey where are the other newbs? Let's hear you guys! A few months ago I was a newb. You just gotta play! Get out there and shred! That's how you get better, practice practice practice. Sure some of it will be drilling, but it's all fun.

Tricks can be frustrating in the beginning. The most recent trick I learned, swirl, it took me about 300 tries before I could foot it, and another 200 before I could seal it. It takes that kind of dedication! But there is no feeling like landing a new trick so it was all worth it.

Where are you guys? I hope you are out there shredding so much you don't have time to post in this blog.
