how come with the scar? some ancient story of Da'Ryl ;) ... we'll see.

just shredding crazy in my room, nothing new, but big fun. oh yeah there is: new is the illusion both sides and the pickup (on monday already), but nothing too tricky, I guess.

anybody up for playing tomorrow around 6?

cheers!

27. April 2006
Solo Session today. I drilled Drifters and Stepping ss tricks. I really focused on the technique and tried to remember all the things that are necessary for a clean set and trick. And I did a nice combo in front of the cam: Smear > Atomsmasher > Smear > Atomsmasher :) In the end I did a couple af tiltless (with some 3's) 40+ and a 45+ contact runs to improve my stamina.

Swimsuit Shred

And another one - the 5th for me in a row i think . The first one was weird,
i had no organization and strange expectations, great combo...
On tuesday i had a good session - nice drills and a lot of new stuff,
plus BeaTricks never ceases to amaze .
Wednesday i played on our schools running tracks, working on stepping and
toe guiltless. That one was sweaty, but satisfying.
Yesterday was nice, alot of spins and ducks, effective, fun stuff .

Well, and today i was kinda weak :D ok drills, one new trick and some
decent work on basics, but no long/intense combos or fat runs .
I need long runs back in my life - nice build up, good variety, fresh links -
the whole thing .
I need to create a space for strings in my schedule, especially when i
shred alone . One hour drills, one hour shred or something like that .

Bea had some strong bop runs and she also busted hardcore in the
circle, hitting a lot of walks midstring with high drama type timing.
She also hit 5 unique toe guiltless magellan>plo>rpt>smear .

Toby was shining and there is nothing better to watch than noobs
getting good - i love that :D:D:D
His tiltless is coming along great plus he usually learns and/or bsoses
new tricks everytime .
I like that he is grasping a lot of important dimensions already -
style, consistency, bothsidedness and so on .

Highlights :

bop run with butter>ss butter>pdx mirage rpt>4x butter>pdx mir rpt

ducking mirage>ducking legover rpt again

dso>smear>ducking mirage> run

atomsmasher>plo>plo>smear>plo>sm...

atomic illusion

I just came home from a tasty dinner with a following overnight stay in a nice hotel ca. 70 km away from Munich. The next day (today) we went to an amusement park and drove rollercoaster till we were sick :) After our arrival in Munich Bjoern and I enjoyed a shred session in a relaxed public park.
My highlights:
- 3 or 4 really good guiltless runs :D One with Blurry Whirl and Butterfly > Ducking Clipper midrun.
- 10 guiltless pixie tricks, 8 of them were unique
At the end we did some stamina improving tiltless action
- 29 contacts tiltless with atw after every move ending on toe
- 53 tiltless
- 38 contacts of Mirage > ss Mirage
- 43 Clipper > Clipper
The last two are by far not my personal bests but it was still cool to push my endurance so hard in the end. And after a nice 15 minutes stretch iI cruised home on my Longboard :) What a day...

Relaxed Session at Luitpoldpark with Max

Yeah that session was nice. I love relaxed 1-on-1 sessions.

I hit:

225 kicks (personal best)
Stepping ss clipper bsos
flip pixie midrun comes better, hit flip pixie ss pickup midrun
stepping ss clipper>pixie clipper>shmoe>run
ducking clipper>far symp rev whirl>pdx mirage>run

my run length was very good today and I had some runs over 15 contacts.
best tiltless was 26 today. I will try to focus on run length in the future.
my control comes back and gets better, too.

Too bad Daryl didn't show up.

Yeah that does sound like a good session - i like the whole stamina/ string
length thing - i wish i could have made it.

My telefon died and i spent two goo hours on resurrection ceremonies,
with some succsess though. The restof the day i was hanging with my mom,
which was kool and studying latin, which was...

Anyway, props for your toe guiltless stuff, Mr Hunter and a big thumbs up
for general improvent of both, confidence and skill, Mr Seifert :D !

hey guys, sounds great! but still have to look up some combos of yours.. hehe. but I think from now on I'll write down my drills and how-many-times-XY as well. it sounds crazy, but I was so happy to do 5 clippers and also 5 mirages in a row! perfect practise to boost ones concentration! :-D

I have been to stuttgart to the international festival of animated film! awesome!! you would have loved it as well! and their cinemas rule (big space, good sound, digital projection!). sooo good the stop motion puppet and clay and 3D stuff! hahaha! but I'm getting a BIT off topic here. *g*

so, wasn't around in M. but today looks like perfect shred-weather. anybody? again after 6? I'm eager to kick.

dayrl: which trains to you take? gotta discuss that, cos I really have to try to go to beautiful praha!! :-D

My first shred session in a open air bath this year :) I played quite well.
SS Smear x5
Smear > Magellan > PLO > Smear > Magellan > PLO > Butterfly > Sidewalk > Ripwalk > Sidewalk > Ripwalk > Osis > run :D

Edit: My Whirls were also good that day. Whirl > Butterfly rpt. 6 or 7 x and Whirl > PDX Whirl rpt :)

Monday was cool! Everybody was playing well. Bjoern only plays once a week and he still does great runs and tricks everytime.
I was also very happy with my game. Working on my basic tricks and all possible combinations really pays off. In one run I did Butterfly > Ducking Clipper again :) I TOTALY have to imporve my duckings out of Butterflies and start doing them midrun. This will add another element to my game so I can make genuine runs. It's the same with Paradons and DATW's, I can do them at the start of a run. But I have problems with my balance when I want to do these tricks midrun.
It was also combo time... Magellan > PLO > Magellan > PLO > Smear > PLO > Smear > PLO > ss Smear > drop :)
Next time I want to do Atomsmasher > Atomic Legover rpt. Thanks for the good ideas Daryl!

Great session in front of the Dante-Stadium with Max, Bea and Daryl.

For me it was mainly combos, but most of them new and hot:

Ripwalk>Torque>run
Pdx DLO>Dimwalk
Tap>Magellan>Pixie Clipper
>run with flip Pixie Clipper
Smear>Tap>run with Blur midstring
flip Dimwalk midrun
Zulu Clipper>Diving Clipper>Ducking Clipper
One run with Tap, Ripwalk and some Pixies

also some single moves, all have already been hit by me before , but most of them only once or twice:

Quantum Legover
Pdx Drifter
Gyro Mirage
Legbeater
Atomic Legover
Pixie op inside kicking op Legover

Wow what a session. Everybody was busting hardcore.
