Brag About Your Cooking
I've always cooked every once in a while, but since I have a lot more time in the house, I decided to use it by cooking new things. I just made a cool apple pie today. It was yummy.
I've also recently made a cool pizza from scratch, chicken parmesan, gobs (cake cookies), spaghetti (I melted a bunch of different cheeses in the sauce...mmmmmmmm), and others I can't remember.

I love baking, but I have bad luck with yeast
I make pizza from scratch too, but it never really rises much...
I used to make my dad's soy sauce chicken all the time -- my favourite food!! But it's something that you kind of have to make often to remember how to do it. I tried a few years later and I added, like, too much salt, not enough sugar...that sorta thing.
Cooking rocks though
I'm thinking of culinary school or baking school.

I LOVE cooking
My best recently was barbeque bush blend lamb with a sesame soy sauce on beans and asaparagus and honey and coriander carrots. mmm.
ooh and moroccan salmon on a bed of salsa with a side salad with baby spinach leaves and a coriander and lemon dressing.
me <3 food. I don't bake really cause our oven is totally bunk >.>

i really enjoy cooking and at work i make really awesome creations, simply because i have all the ingredients at my finger tips. at home i cook on occasion, but i'm usually too bummed to make stuff at home because i dont' have any of this, that or the other and i don't feel like making a trip to the store to spend the few bucks i have.
today i made a pork cutlettes at work and instead of using barbecue sauce i made burnaise sauce (from scratch) and put that on the steak which i rubbed with olive oil, sea salt, pepper corns, cajun seasoning and minced oregano. fuck was that ever a great meal. as a side i did a mint and baby potato salad and some garlic steamed broccoli. holy hell was it good. easily the best meal i've had in along time.

I love to cook, My favourite thing to make is breakfast items, specifically omelettes and crepes!
The last non-breakfast thing I made that I really liked was smoked turkey breasts stuffed with pureed turkey, wild rice, and julienned granny smith apples. I smoked them on my BBQ with some regular wood chips and finished them in my oven. I also made a cranberry orange salsa for it, it had cranberries, chives, green onions, cilantro, green peppers, apple cider vinegar, orange and lime juice and some other random stuff.. I made that for my parents (and me) and I served it with mashed parsnips and potatoes.
I made a tomato salsa for my bag of tostitos the other day too, i used 2 hothouse tomatos, a banana pepper, jalapenio, green pepper, red onion, green onion, celery, chili pepper paste, balsamic vinegar, and cilantro and basil.
Yesterday for dinner I made hamburgers with havarti cheese in the centers
Last week i made a kickass stirfry too.. but i dont feel like writing any more ingredients.
Also anyone into veggie growing? Im starting my first herb/veggie garden this summer, I got a pretty awesome variety, thai and sweet basil, sage and purple sage, chives, thyme, rosemary, dill, brandywine tomatoes, green onions, tendergreen beans, fennel, and cayenne peppers
