I played soccer on Sunday! It was indoor and lots of fun although nobody on our team had played before (or even knew the rules) although I did play outdoor soccer when I was 10 or 11 and another guy on our team had played outdoor soccer before too

. We lost 5 nil but I thought that was pretty good for our first game - especially considering the fitness of everybody else on our team. Although I want to be fitter I still was easily the fittest person on the court. I have ok skills too I guess although certainly they could get a lot better and I doubt that will happen.
Apart from that I got in trouble at work the other day for net sending a message to every computer saying "all your base are belong to us" - apparntly that's a security risk or something. Anyway it was hard not to be amused when I was chastised about it. Anyway I have learnt my lesson.
My brother came around today and put the big brother video of the turkey slap on my computer - just what I've always wanted

. Actually I haven't watched it yet but I find the whole thing pretty hilarious. Can't say I'm a fan of big brother or ever watched a whole episode but it's good to see that at least in Australia people can talk about sexual assualt without the threat of censorship.
Oh yeah today I finally got paid for a footbag demo I did on the 1st of April!! Huzzah. I had actually given up on it but then I bumped into the person who was meant to be paying me and she organised it all for me

. huzzah I can eat this week
Apart from that I've been spending my spare time working on some various IFPA stuff. Soon I will get internet access at home which will make things a lot easier but it feels good to be spending my small amount of spare time on doing something useful for the sport of footbag instead of wasting it on criticising people for giving up their time to try and do postive things for the sport or writing about myself.
