Played with Brad on the 4th, I guess that's how we celebrated our independance. Other than that we came back and watched semi finals World Cup (Germany vs France). After that we rented out 2 movies, well, I had no decision in the renting cause they just randomly came back with 2. I really wanted to watch both Ocean's 11 & 12 back to back, but oh well. We watched Green Street Hooligans, which was about...soccer hooligans and the firms that created street hostility, great movie. And The Hills Have Eyes, some gory horror flick that didn't really appeal to me. I'm not a big fan of those sorts of movies. I don't mind gore when gore is needed, but to excessively put it everywhere, just not my taste.
Anyways, shred news ? I did hit blurry whirl bsos for the first time, and now all I have to do is try to hit blurriest bsos. As I push myself harder, I still notice my left leg hurting here and there within my knee and my shin, because it is still lacking strength in comparison to my good leg (right). I also hit flip fairy dlo for the first time (first try) and tried to bsos it, but missed it by a smidgin. This whole dlo thing is becoming cake and I love it, cause I can throw it in here and there without taxing myself a ton of energy. I will start throwing more eggbeaters here and there to even it out and keep variety. I also thought of a new trick that is totally doable now that I have revups down to a science and symple reverse swirls down. Symple rev-up. I know one side will be ok (right leg performing symp), but the other side will take a while since it lacks power to perform symp moves.
Other than that, I finished the session by skooling toe whirls to pdx dlo. Good side easy like cake so I practiced flip for like 15 minutes and wanted to repeat it. I was to the point where performing the flip toe whirl hurt a bit each time because it was so fatigued and not used to the motion. By the end of the session, my shirt was completely soaked and my hair the same, it looked like I just ran through the rain...gross. I did get down a lot of stepping out of drifters which is good. I can pretty much step out of any drifter variation on my strong side, and double downs and whirl stuff. That doesn't go for my flip though, it is so hard to get the power and control down to where I can step out. I pretty much need to get my flip stepping down to where it is more effortless...so when it comes to other variations I'll be able to use a more efficient movement, instead of attempting to whip my leg around and just fatiguing it to death. Anyways, enough outloud analyzation of my shitty flip side.
I uploaded about 3/4 of all my scso footage and still have a bit left. This is always the most painful task of editing because I have to go through everything and when I see something I like, I have to rewind and record what I like. So basically if I have an hour tape, that will take 1.5 hours to upload, and I've got a little over 2 tapes worth. Once that is done, I'll have all fine footage to edit to on my computer. That is when the fun stuff happens. Choosing music and just matching pieces like a puzzle, except I'm the creator with a fine exacto knife
