Real life reduction / expansion
I just got through dancing
I ran and practiced my kung fu
I'm trapped in
But for a moment I broke through
Been thinkin about myself
and my life with you
lookin back on my history
im livin in such misery
not comparitivly
but inside my own brain
i want the 3rd thing
before the 2nd even came
you're the only one who
i never came to hate
thanks for taking me
on to better days

Hello. I took a little break from modified and posting cause it didn't seem relevant to the things I should be doing.
Im an art freak. I have been using most of my free time to draw, paint, or edit in Photoshop CS2.

Photoshop CS2 is a really great program. Sam downloaded the video tutorials and I finished watching the first of 3 parts. (Its really long) Its such a great tool to edit a digital image, and it comes in handy since I can edit some pictures, print them, and use them in my sketch book or something.

I also have Flash8 which is an animation program. It's cool to know how to do that type of stuff. So I'm watching the tutorials for that too.

In AP art you have to have a concentration. Mine, with the help of Sam, is going to be all the different forces in my life. Thats the general idea. Im going to focus in on who I really want to be when I get older. The idea still needs some work, but I've already started my first piece. And I like it.

As for footbag, Sam and I had a fun session outside in my driveway the other day. After that, we took a short walk.
Speaking of Sam, he made 2 really reallllly good meals recently. One was this creamy pasta with broccoli. The other was those Scoops chips with a little sour cream, beans, tomato, avocado, and cheese in each one. Then we put it in the oven. 8O SO good.

I am going to watch some more tutorials. Peace.

edit: You all will be surprised once sam gets his video camera. I will post a new video of me. Just wait and see.

Sam Sam Sam. :)

Ashley is such a fantastic artist.... :) At first, I was interested by her art, but, I think I didn't consider it very serious. Maybe novelty is the word. Maybe not. But, now I have been with Ashley for over a year. I have lived with her for almost a year and I have seen her grow. Hmm. I have seen her attempt to grow. I have seen her be suffocated by life and conjure the raw strength to grow and shape herself. She isn't perfect yet (lol... not like ME of course... sarcasm) but this girl has a lot of EFFORT and WILLPOWER. Ashley always finds a way to be happy, unless she's not happy, but then, its usually pretty easy to get her to see some beauty. At first, I thought she was pretty open minded, then I thought she was closed minded, now I see that she is becoming sooooo openminded. Hmm, she has a love of beauty and a maturity that evolves from it. She has Esthetics. Ah, Well. I am in love.

So it looks like I have the opportunity to go to Italy and Spain in March. My AP Art class is offering the trip for really cheap. Around 1500. Inluding, hotel, train, breakfast, dinner, and muesum fees paid for. I have to come up with the money before January. I am giong to pled with my parents and every other relative I have for the majority of the cash. Then I can take on the rest. I really want to go, because the experiance is once in a lifetime. Seeing the real thing in art is very inspiring. Although, it wouldn't be the end of the world if I didn't.

I'm probably not going to go to any footbag competetions this year, except maybe SE Regionals. I need to save for that trip and then save to move. Thats a big bummer to me, no footbag comps, cause it would be sick to go to css agian. So thats that.

I'll blog more later.

Yesterday we started filming which turned out to be really fun. This video is going to document getting into really good shape. Its more for us than the viewers. but it is going to be sick. The session yesterday was good, got up a sweat practicing how my hands look and my breathing. I think I have the weirdest hands, ever, in footbag. My right hand points for some reason. On myspace I have one of my videos up and this guy is like.."...retard hand" something. lol. So I'm working on it. Its funny though. Sam calls it my gun hand. Best be stepping when im shredding.

~bye.

Back when I played hacky sack, my hands turned palm up when I kicked. I don't know what I do now, but it's probably odd.

Intense work out!!!!
I kicked for an hour by myself hitting a lot of good stuff. I played in front of my house in like 93 degree weather. HOT! After my session I was looking for batteries for my mp3 player and became really frustrated because we didn't have any. This is an on going problem, so I solved it by finally going to the store. After I came back I ran around my neighborhood, and winded myself. I havent ran for a while so right now im really tired, but feel good on the inside. That's all that matters.

No good sessions to post about but I am getting good at art and guitar. That makes me happy. I want to play more footbag. I am definitly getting my life together, and so I am only occasionally on modified. I'll try to post once a week or something, its just so hard cause I am so busy.

But busy in a good way.

Horray for art and music.

Maybe you could drop an update about what you are doing with that footbag art project you asked for advice on in the Homework Help section (or was it Arts and leisure?) . . . about the "work" of footbag. I read your post and responded to it, but then you never followed up and said the direction you were planning on going. I'm still interested in what you choose and how it comes out.

I just made a really really good art section in my room, and I would post a picture of that but I need to find batteries for my camera. So thats 2 excuses. But I pormise Ill get on it.
