I FINALLY GOT MY QUANTUMS
Here is my review:
Overview:
They are way lighter than lavers, this means fast dexing moves and things like whirls are a lot easier, it also makes blender feel like the coolest thing you ever felt!
They look damn sexy - wow, I had to stop Toby stroking them today BECAUSE I WAS STILL WEARING THEM

lol
There is one less eyelet than lavers because the wings are further back, so start rethinking ur lacing patterns!
They have a low inside bit, so no need for ugly brokka mod!!
Material - the inside and toe are made out of a soft foamy material (maybe for bag shock absorbtion?) The material seems pretty grippy and you can feel the bag through it very well.
Professional look - I heard some people walking past today saying "Wow they have special shoes for hacky now!" - in other words, these clearly look like specialised shoes, not your everyday kicks - BUT they look damn stylie too (better than origional lavers IMO).
Toe:
Take the insoles out, I coulden't even hit legover with em in.
Toe size depends on lacing patern, I have laced so my wings don't stand up very much at all. I tried standing them up but they are too far back to hold the bag on your toe and just act as snags for the bag.
The bad - My wings cover quite a bit of my toe box and since the sweet spot is quite far back on the toe box, it means you have to be pretty precise about where you catch the bag. Since the toe material is soft, it's like the bag is landing on your bare foot, if you catch it on your toes it sets forwards so you have to catch it in the toe joint area (right between the wings), so in the end I think the effective toe area is bigger on lavers.
From my experiance today the toe box is harder to stall on, if I drop the bag on my laver it will 90% just plop in the toe box and stay, if I do the same on my quantums and it doesn't fall atleast close to the centre, it will roll off.
For some odd reason atomic sets are harder, I don't seem to be able to set the bag toward the inside of my knee, this could be because it defaults to setting perfectly stright? I hit fairy blender today no sweat and then spent a good chunk of time trying to hit atomic blender, and managed to actually get off about 2 atomic sets in like 10 minutes

.
The good - this is helping a lot, I am consistantly catching the bag in the middle of my foot so my sets are far more consistnat, also I don't have my toe sets catching on my wings like I did with lavers so I think my toe game will improve with quantums. Provided I stall the bag close to the sweet spot, it seems to move automatically to the perfect spot and results in a perfect set almost everytime, this has ment my fairy and pixie sets are more consistant, but it's taking me more concentration to actually hit the toe delays in my moves.
Clipper:
The clipper rail isn't as curved as lavers and the suade that goes round the front of the shoe doesn't come back far enough to effect the bag. This is good and bad.
The bad - the sweet spot isn't as obvious as on lavers, lavers have the bit of suade which stops the bag and they have a huge curve in the sole which means you can do clippers without having flat ankles.
Since there is no concentrated sweet spot that the bag rolls into and catches on, it makes stepping sets a bit harder because the bag doesn't have a little hole to fling out of during the set
The good - I'm not sure but it feels like the clipper rail slopes outward so when the bag lands on your clipper, if it slides or rolls, the curved outward edge of the shoe stops it, which results in MUCH LESS ROLL OFF! WOOOO!
The sweet spot seems longer and less concentrated, so you can catch the bag anywhere along the clipper rail and it will set evenly. This seems like it would reward flat clippers which I don't mind at all
Sole:
Pretty much the sexiest thing i've seen in my life.
I'm going to have to quit doing flappers least I get flocked by girls that are in love with my gangsta 'quantum' soles

.
They are initially a little slippery (same as lavers to start with) but I think that when the plasticy sheen wears off they will be grippy as ever.
Sorry it's so huge and probably impossible to read! It's almost 3am and i'm not very coherant
