There are many things I've been guilty of in the past that have been acknowledged in this topic:
- pointless comments posted publicly (I agree that pms can make for a cleaner forum under this context). I'm guilty of making positive comments to stitchers that stitch pretty dope bags (although in my constructive opinion I factor in the prerequisistes of what makes a good bag, and therefore leave a comment). This can change if this is what the community finds troubling. I'm sure that if someone spoke up that I had no clue what i was talking about, I would take offense. However, it is I that I should find in me the realization of this belief against me, and I should reasonably find proof of this.
Concerning this subject, I'm also guilty of starting a small constructive argument against Zeb about chainmail bags. Indeed, I did feel a bit offended to be refuted on the basis of chainmail bags being playable, but in a way I can also see how I was portrayed in Zeb's eyes on what could be my 'elitist' attitude against chainmail bags. The flames only continued from there until Kyle (I think) stepped up and made a small joking comment on the absurdity of the issue. I still have my thoughts on the issue that they are 'unnecessary for freestyle' and a 'waste of cash,' but who am I to say about an item where another player has a possible interest in? Still, words like these can be taken for a grain of salt. And, with further examination on the issue, there was a misconception on both opening comments that could have been easily avoided. Since I made the third comment, I should be at fault here for letting it rise to an argument in a way. - Misinforming the public. I've learned to watch what I post a LONG time ago, though there are cases where I have slipped and fell. In truth, I feel that in a way, my G-unit mod tutorial is somewhat misinformed. If this is the case, a pm would be nice, and if enough troubled feedback is presented to me I would gladly respond to have the topic deleted. I'm more aware of modding shoes and whatever. I've since stopped making topics sometime ago (and only made it when I think it is necessary), and only post comments I'm sure is relevant to the topic at hand. I'm sure there are still some cases where I'm still slipping. I also apologise for this.
- Being too much of a pacifist. I understand clearly what is happening to the modified community right now, but I've placed it aside and instead offer lighter comments to hold my breath. In some (or most) cases, this action is 'feigning ignorance' and only leaves the actual problem to breed to a much darker beast. I'm definitely a very chill and reasonable person in some respects (in a non-violent way) outside of modified, and I feel that problems can be solved over time, but there comes an instance where a stand must be made to confront the issue head on. That's what discussion boards are made for. Though I think inflammatory comments should be put aside for more persuasive and reasonable arguments, the human voice can't be constrained to express a more sophisticated and well-mannered attitude. So, in conclusion to this, I feel for Zeb's concerns and Matt's outrage, and any feuding thoughts similar to it. However, I shouldn't act like some sort of mediator or wannabe peacemaker in this whole issue. It will only portray how full of shit I really am. And in a way, I believe that I am a very despicable person for acting in this respect.
With that said, I think I posted too much garbage for people to read.
