Have you been watching any football at all this season, I disagree, the bears are going to be destroyed either way because the AFC is a much stronger and tougher than the NFC. I think that the bears have been overated and dont have a shot in the superbowl.

and I hate the patriots, go colts

The Bears have a chance. Not a huge chance, but a chance. The Colts passing game is obscenely good. The Bears' defensive backs are going to get exposed.

I didn't think the Bears would get the pressure on Brees that they got, but it was huge. If they can get the same kind of pressure on Manning it will (no shit) keep the Bears in the game.

The Bears D will need to play its best possible game, and even that will only keep the score close. From there the Bears offense has to try to keep up with the Colts (not a bet I'd want to take).

Whats that they say . . .?

A good defense will never win against a good offense? er . . um?

Colts= good offense, poor defense.
Chicago=not sure, not sure

result: Bears whoop Colts' asses because a good passing game cannot exist in the midst of a good defense. It has been proven time and time again. If the bears have a defense, they will win.

Man, the Colts game last night was fucken unbelievable. Maybe enough to make me think Da Bears'll lose? No.

We really need better coverage and to penetrate(hehe) that freaken air-tight O-line of the Colts. Urlacher, Briggs, and Hillenmyer(sp?) will take care of Rhodes and Addai, I'm just terrified of the Manning-Harrison, Wayne, and Clark situation.

Actually, the Patriot's defense was probably better than the Bear's, seeing as that was the strength of their team this year, and all year long they have played against offenses 10x better than anything the Bear's saw. You still might be right though, but I still expect the Colt's to ass in on the Cub's I mean Bear's. A lot depend on how good the Bear's run defense is against Addai and Rhodes, because if they have good games then Peyton, Reggie and Marvin are just going to stretch the field like a rubber band.

And remember, the Colt's defense stunted the shit out of Kansas City and Baltimore, one a team with a pretty damned good offense, and the other a team with a respectable one. Plus, you know who the Colt's have! Most clutch kicker in the history of the NFL. Yes, yes, the man, the myth, the legend, Vinateri.

Okay that was probably one of the most retarded things i've heard all week.

1.Iunno what youre on, but i dont think the Pat's defense has ever won a game(including Special teams). Solid D, but only two players that really stand out, Asante Samuel, and Bruschi. Bears have Urlacher, Briggs, Anderson, Tank Johnson , Alex Brown, Tillman, R. Manning, the list goes on. 27 forced fumbles compared to NE's 14. Bears gave up a few more rush yards, but no biggie.

2.Who did the Pat's play that was so special?

3.If im correct when you let go of a rubberband, the ends you hold it by retract.

If you watched the Colts/pats game, iunno if ya noticed but the kickoffs after the half the Pats returned for 80 yds once, and an average of 40 for the rest of the game. You know who the Bears have? The man, the myth, the rookie legend Devin Hester.

Wow, what a game huh? WELL, they said during the game that many of the players on the Pat's Defensive unit were fighting the flu. I guess there's something to be said about cruisin with byes and homefield advantage. Given light to that though, boy they sure played their hearts out the first half! You could tell after halftime the drugs wore off haha.

I think Caldwell was fighting it too. He looked HIGH to me, as in wired from too much Sudafed or something. His eyes were bulging out of his skull. Anyway, two dropped passes, one perfectly thrown in the end zone, and one close to the end zone which would've meant a touchdown for the Pats instead of the subsequent field goal.

In the end, I'm glad Peyton gets a chance at the Superbowl. He's a great player, the Colts are a quality team and they deserve a shot. Brady is definitely one of the best all-time. I consider him to be almost equal to the Joe Montana of the 49ers dynasty era. Although Montana would've won the game with a minute left and two time outs. That's how amazing of a quarterback he was.

I 100% agree with EVERY WORD loss of control said.

I never thought I would say this but the bears defense is WAY UNDER RATED, at least on this forum. It wins games.

The colts have just won their third extremely hard game in a row, and now they face da bears D.

I personally think the colts will win the superbowl. But da bears will not be pushovers, they have a REAL chance of winning the big one.

Edit; Caldwell looked high as a kite to me too.

New England's defense is 1 spot behind the Bears in the overall statistical rankings, playing in the much harder AFC. Bears gave up more points per game, more rush yards, only four less total yards than the Pat's, and nearly the same in pass yards, ALL WHILE PLAYING IN THE NFC.

Who did the Pat's play? Here's a list:

Jets, Bronco's, Bengal's, Colt's, Bear's (Where they won by the way), Jaguar's and Titan's. All team's at or above 500. Who have the Pat's beaten? Here's another list: Jet's, Bengal's, Bear's, Jaguar's, Titan's and Charger's.

How about the Bears victories? Really only against Seattle (Who was only ok this year), New Orlean's, Jet's, and Giants (Like that even counts as a quality team).

Special teams isn't defense buddy, so I'm not sure what you're talking about. And also, you're wrong anyways, the Pat's specical teams definitely did win a game this year with their new rookie kicker. And as far as their defense not winning them games, they only gave up more than 21 points a single time the entire regular season, so it's clear you have no idea what you're talking about. And besides, like I said, statistically the Pat's were only one place behind Chicago in defense, playing, for the final time, IN THE TOUGHER DIVISION.
it kinda seems like youre just taking what i said and put it in the words of a 10 year old AFC fan/Bear hater.

Dude, I spent 4 years of my life in Downer's Grove, outside of Chicago, and I have the Blackhawks and Bulls apparell to prove it. The fact is, the Bear's have always been lame, and they're going to drop it during the big show.

Reche Caldwell's eyes are always like that.
he didnt play very well for most of the game, but he certainly didnt look high when he made that one really sweet catch.

Yeah someone else told me that his eyes are always like that. Ah well, you still don't drop a wide open gimme pass in the end zone during the AFC Championship.

Its pro football....

Anyteam can win against another.
Examples:
-Tampa Bay beat the Bengals.
-Readskins beat the Saints(same division).
-Houston beat the Colts and Jaguars... twice(all same division).

I really dont think that divisions really matter, its mostly team chemistry, surroundings(home/away), player instinct/awareness, and coaching. You cant say that AFC is better cause a division is made up of teams, youre just saying the AFC is a tougher division because it has a few more winning teams than the NFC, which is incorrect.

AND Downer's Grove isn't Chicago.

Well, I agree with everything bainbridgeshred has said

Your right that anything can happen, I thought there was a lot more upset in this years regular season, but DIVISIONS DO MATTER, if you look at the match ups between afc and nfc teams this season, the afc won most of the matchups.

and.....the afc team has won 7 of the last 9 superbowls

bears cant hold on, peyton manning finally gets what he deserves

Lol dude, now you're not even replying to anything said or providing support for your team, you're just saying "Both teams have a chance at winning". Thanks dude, I didn't realize that in a sports game each side could win. That isn't even what we're discussing though, we're talking about who has the better chance of winning, and after I dropped the fact-bomb all over your post after you called what I said retarded, you don't have anything else to say. That's fine, run along to another thread. Tell me one more time why the Patriot's defense isn't better than Chicago's besides naming off a bunch of high profile players. Oh wait you can't.

I really dont think that divisions really matter,
Like Freestyler said, Superbowls are usually won in long stretches by one or the other division, and this is the way it's been since the '73 merger, so really it's clear that you don't know what you're talking about.
You cant say that AFC is better cause a division is made up of teams
Teams, some of which are better than others, or have you never played sports?
your just saying the AFC is a tougher division because it has a few more winning teams than the NFC
No, that's never what I said, and isn't the reason the AFC is a better division. Trust me dude, I'm an NFC fan more than I am an AFC fan (Who is a fan of a conference anyways?) so it's not like I'm just talking shit here.

And yes, the Bear's do have a chance. If they run for over 150 yards, and Grossman plays like he did against New Orlean's, then they could win the game.

And don't apologize to me for trying to sound "harsh". I'm the fucking king of harsh. And when it comes to Football, I know what the fuck I'm talking about. Say something I said is retarded again and next time I'm in Downer's Grove I'll seek you out and burn your house down.

I now know why no one likes you.

Seriously though, get a life. Do you just sit around all fucken day waiting for me to reply so you can talk shit? Go play some footbag or something.
Next time youre in Chicago let me know, cause its really not cool to threaten my family.
have you never played sports?
As a matter of fact I played football(year ago, imma play when the season restarts), was a starting DE, I wanted DT but I need some more weight.
