Back from Miami.

Monday I had the pleasure of waking up at 6:00am, on a day where I could have slept in. For a lot of people I woundn't, for David I did.

I woke up that morning, packed some things into the car, double checked my driving directions and headed for Sams crib. (pit stop at MickyDee's) We left at 7:30am, 3 mistakes later, we were in Miami trying to find Pennsylvania Ave, a road with no street sign. When we finally met up with Dan he took us to his apartment, I wish I took a picture of it because it was really nice, this was our second time playing. Dans really nice, and we chatted for a bit at his house before hitting the streets to find a shred spot and meet up with David and Alex Strassman.

(I walked by Miami Ink on the way 8) )

We stopped in the middle of a walkway and started kicking w/out David and Alex until they came.

Some pics from that :

David and Alex walked up on our circle and instantly it felt like no time had passed from seeing David last. This was also the first time I met Alex Strassman, a very cool guy who I want to shred with a lot more often.

We all kicked on the street :

I was amazed at David. He is sick. Period. I played really shitty that session, but I didn't care because I was having fun.

After that we grubbed, and then went to the beach:

After the beach some crazy ass 4square. SO much fun playing.

We then ate dinner at a pizza place, and went back to Dans house to shred MORE. Another shredder, Matt, from out of town came, I don't remember his last name. We actually ended up going to this basketball court, and kicking the middle of it with all these basketball players playing on the surrounding courts. It was hardcore. We left at like 12pm or something, I don't really remember. I played better that session. :)

From there we went to Miami University to Alex's dorm room for some Zzz. His dorm room was how I imagined a boys dorm to be, but that bathroom was CRAZY DISGUSTING. Ew. We all took turns showering, David started stitching a bag, and Sam and I slept on the floor.

I woke up with a lot of cracks in my back, and before anyone else. I tossed and turned untill someone else awoke, that was Alex. We all got up after that, grubbed, and headed out for some 4 square.

David and I ended up waiting on Sam and Alex, and we had a cool convo about a book idea he has. (go for it dave) Then came the epic 4 square, where, the only thing I can remember about it is losing the footbag on a beam uptop. I know alex has some pictures of it, I wish I did. It was a Holly Bag. We put a ton of effort and attempts into getting the bag bag, and it was mainly just fun. We finally got the bad down with David standing on Sam's shoulders and knoting 2 shits together to swipe the bag down. No one was hurt, do not try that at home.

The last meal was at a bagel place. David wanted the kids portion of chicken fingers and the waitress wouldn't give it to him. That was pretty funny.

After that we just took pics at the dorm and made our sad departure. I wanted to hang out more with Alex and David.

It was really nice seeing David agian, he is the same crazy kid as always, and my best friend.

I was SO happy to finally meet Alex. Hes such a cool guy. He can beatbox so well! Hes a great footbagger too, because hes very smooth. And hes really funny, in a way that is simalar to David. I can see why they are such good friends. I hope to hang out with him more, because hes super cool and nice.

Thanks Alex for letting us sleep on the floor, we really did appreciate it.
Thanks Dan for showing us around Miami, and kicking with us.
Thanks David for showing me how to stitch.
<3 you Sam.

Peace!

Spring break is going well. I have been working and tanning. Thats pretty much it. I've procrastinated with my homework pretty bad, and that ends now.

Not so much footbag lately, but I'm not worried.

Dear Ashley,

You are at work right now. I will see you in 2.75 hours, at which time you will be happily surprised to see I got the internet. I drew a nice picture for you on the sketch paper Cherish gave us. I made 79 dollars at work today, not as much as I had hoped for. I can't wait to make art and music with you tonight. Drive safely... I love you.

good lord its been a long time since ive seen modified. so much new stuff idk where to start. i hate when that happens, and you have to "catch up." I rather not, and I don't think I will.

I haven't kicked in forever it feels like, but I'm accomplishing a lot in the meantime like going to school, working hard, working on a relationship.

I think I've figured all of the above out now, and I just now have to get through the finals at school, graduate, turn 18, and then my new life begins. Pretty excited about that.

I haven't kick though, and thats dissapointing to me in one way, but I dont really care in another, because I'm happy.

I still wanna pratice, but no longer is Worlds something I have to bust my ass for. I want to go and have fun. Some might say thats giving up and taking it easy on myself. I've been told I have to potential to be sick. I understand that all, its just not on my priority list this moment. I don't need to show off.

In a couple of hours I get to walk across a big stage and finally graduate from high school. It's a good feeling of accomplishment. I graduated with honors, an achievment I'm most glad to have gotten. I can't wait for college.

My manager made shirts that say, "Ashley Danowski #1" which makes me feel pretty cool. Some of the associates at my work are going to see me walk, and my parents, brother, and godparents will be there.

I got a 200 dollar gift card to Macys! 8O Pretty excited about that.

OH 7.
