Sometimes I feel some trolls post things they don't actually believe in, just to rile people up and gain attention.

I try never to respond to these people and I don't understand why people get so worked up and feel the need to reply to them. It's the attention that they are seeking, and without the attention paid onto them, they may go elsewhere to satiate their inadequacies.

If an ignore button is what the community needs to ignore these posts, then we should have it.

It's one thing to debate and have both sides of an argument. It's another to just flame and make personal attacks on members of the community.

When I first started posting here, I had some sympathy for you. I mean, it seemed like nobody liked you, you probably wouldn't be welcome at a lot of footbag events, you clearly desparately need some guidance in life, you don't know anything about anything, you have the same emotional development as a toddler, and you clearly don't have much of a future ahead of you unless something forces you to change how you behave towards other people.

So here's my absolutely last comment to you. I've seen you post several times that you think you can say whatever you want to anybody, and how they take it isn't your problem. This is total, 100 % bullshit. But it takes maturity to understand why, so I'm not gonna bother trying to explain it to you. I think this function should be available ... and some will use it ...
but i think around 80 % of the community wont use it, so it wont make to much of a difference on whether or not its available.

I usually just ignore a lot of posts. I think moderation is pretty good here. I don't read the discussion forum. I'm not opposed to the button.

I'd like to comment on Frank Sinatra's reply. Actually i know that people hate switch kicker, but I don't know exactly why since I haven't really read many of his posts. i think it's because I don't read enough topics here, or I skip lots of posts sometimes. I don't know if getting the last word is Switch's victory. Getting responses like yours is. You may be wasting your breath on that reply for him, but it may help others.

Why would I care. That statement is completely untrue. I'm not totally wrong, and especially not deliberately wrong, and especially not about everything. Yes, I'm wrong about some things. But you people seem to think you can put a label or right and wrong on things that are based off of opinions, not facts. And I do not try to be wrong whenever I actually am.

Yes, I thrive on people trying to correct me even though it's not really possible because I don't post "bullshit." Sometimes (Usually only in arguments with that Jeremy character.) I post something that is factually incorrect, and he'll speed by on his flying nimbus with some essay written by some overworked college student to prove me wrong, but that doesn't happen too often anymore.

Heh, yes, I do. Freedom of speech means something different to a lot of people. But it's a damn good thing we have the Judicial branch to interpret what the fuck, "Freedom of Speech" really means, right? I know what freedom of speech means, and I know how far I can go with it in the real world before it gets me into legal trouble. I know where I have to draw the line, and I know my boundaries. If this site were a site that based it's rules off of freedom of speech (Which it doesn't, obviously, because I get moderated all the time for saying words that are not very nice considering homosexuals...), which it doesn't have to do, then putting in the ignore option would be a clear breach of freedom of speech.

OK Ok ok lemme try this out. For instance if there was something on TV that really annoyed you say for my instance "American Idol". I'm not going to sit there and say how much I can't take the show and how lame it is (to me at least). Instead I'll flip past the show and onto something else. Then if there was something I wanted to watch after "American Idol" I'd just go back to it after it was over.
