you're a homo. im still going to post a picture. my pictures are clearly the best. though yours are ok. but often reduntant.

i, on the other hand, am the man. here i am with a teacher from my high school, when i was in 11th grade (like 4 years ago).

Image

i actually didnt ever have him as a teacher. i just would skip my class everyday and go into his class that had a bunch of my friends and harrass him.

an aim conversation im currently having with fran:

"
slapdash0984646: homo
FranFootbags: should i post a pic of me and a girl?
slapdash0984646: if you have one
FranFootbags: oh i got one
"
anyway
~~~~~
yo kevin what do you think about maybe filming in that little park in the north end, like on the basketball court. or wherever. that setup sounds pretty ideal, im real stoked on the idea.
the reason we post so much is because we dont use this as a blog, we use it as like...aim basically. ha.
i footed alpine magellan and enterrage barefoot. i suck at same leg downtime double dexes :cry: :cry:
I don't have a fisheye, but Fran is right, we can do that in post if we want that effect.
I think the basketball court is a great place since it is surrounded on three sides and will keep the focus on the subject instead of background. It is also very "city" looking.
Fran, if you can get that camera for a day or so, I have a small steadicam that can make some real sick gliding moves with cameras that weight as much as that Sony. My camera is too light to use with it unfortunately.
I will be in Montreal next weekend for a friend's bachelor party (strippers!), anyone know any footbagers up there? I see lots of shit on the web coming from groups up there.
yeah kevin there is a pretty good crew up in montreal from what i understand. i've kicked with a couple of them. if i were you i'd send a PM to either mathieu (mats21 on modified) or ianek (ianek on modified). from what i hear tam-tam (its this place they do like tam-tam drums, skateboarding, all kinds of crazy shit) is pretty incredible. i think they play there on saturdays sometimes but dont quote me on it. at any rate, im sure you'll find someone to kick with if you want to.
you should take some pictures of the city and shit to post in the blog when you get back. yeah strippers!
are you working n shit today kevin? if you're not busy we should kick it or someshit.
i cant believe we're gonna have like 7 serious kickers at our sessions in a fucking month. ill.
I'll bring a camera up to Montreal for sure. That skate park place sounds cool.
Never work weekends, but my legs are crazy sore from drilling clippers yesterday, can we kick tomorrow? I can do it whenever.
I think I am doing better with the g-units. They have a larger inner surface area than lavers which makes for a nice clipper landing pad.
datw x7 (in out) :P :wink: :)
blurry whirl.....all in due time
So even though I'm not in Boston yet, I still read this blog all the time, and it really makes me wanna shred w/ every1. I've prolly asked this many a time already, but would anybody be able to meet for a session on Aug 6? I know its a while away, but thats when my orientation is, and I would love to get to meet everyone for a lil pre-shred.... Actually, i have no idea how much free time Im gonna have now that I tihnk about it, so maybe I can convince my parents to drive up a lil earlier on Aug 5, and we could meet then, depending on everyones schedule? What do ya'll think?
of course you read the blog all the time. who doesnt? no one, thats who. because everyone wants to be in the crew. they all want to be us.
:wink:
what day of the week is august 6th? and/or 5th? if i can (it all depends on the day of the week) i will obviously want to shred it up.
hey everyone--my schedule for the foreseeable future, just so you know:
i work monday-friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. i dont work saturdays or sundays. so obviously my most available time is like saturdays during the day. however, my job is literally less than 5 minutes from northeastern. literally. less than 5. so any day after 5 pm i can just bike right over and have a nice afternoon session with whomever, especially you NU cokeheads.
i bet you'll have enough time to have at least a shortish session when you're doing orientation regardless, but either way, im stoked.
BSC what?
Hmm....if only we had some one that went through NU's orientation.....
too bad...
There are only two important meetings during orientation that could be done in seriously less than an hour:
Math placement test...I was up till 4 am drinking before orientation and had the test at about 9 am...passed fine easy stuffs
other one is the thing to fill out shit for workstudy....
if you really wanna sit through the pointless tours/any meeting where it is just you and your group leader... eat quick! and play during lunch...pete knows where the caf is ...just meet in like the freshman quad between Steston West (glass building) and Spear hall (where reslife and dorms are)
umm make some friends during orientation -> skip the tours to play footbag i'll give you a better one when you get there (tunnel system included if you want)
If you choose not to skip any of the activities, you WILL be occupied from like 8 am until midnight
Unfortunately I will not be anywhere near Boston on Aug 6th because I will be in Baltimore attending the Virgin music festival from the 3rd to the 6th...i drive back the 6th.....
Really wish i could be there
mo' osis's
-edit-
when pete says his work is 5 min a way....he means walk down Huntington to campus
i am just about willing to bet money that Doug will be in my old dorm ....
Which is actually closer to pete's work than my dorm next year...I don't think im going to tell pete where im living next year to prevent the surprise 3 hour visits when i\m trying to study for a chem exam
fran its actually even faster/closer than you think because i always have my bike. basically as long as it takes for me to get on and then off my bike i will already be at NU. just try to keep your schedules as free as possible right after 5 pm. cuz im not gonna want to go home and then come back.
alright well im supposed to be kicking with kevin in the north end in 20 minutes so i better get my shit together. i bet i'll barely be late :wink:
i have a good feeling about kicking today...i've been resting a ton lately.
updates later!
i was wrong, it didnt really go well. my string length sucked for the most part, and i couldnt even hit any like single moves at all. i dont know why i've felt so damn tired lately. my legs dont seem to have the strength in them lately to hit what i know i can do.
but on the plus side kevin played awesome! he literally shows more promise for a beginner than any i have ever personally played with. i'll let him post about what he was hitting/working on, but believe me, he's gonna be better than me in like a couple weeks tops :) like i told him, he doesnt seem to have any of the typical newbie problems like balance, clipper flatness, high sets (he can toe set the bag like a foot above his head effortlessly and he's taller than i am), etc. once he gets the timing down for everything, and just gets the practice time in, he's gonna be rockin house.
also we came up with some rough ideas of how and where to film as well. i cant wait to see what him and fran put together this fall 8O
im definitely planning on taking things a little more easy than i have been. like just going to work, relaxing at home, and playing some bag every couple days. stay out of trouble, and dont go downtown much at all and hopefully shit will settle down and i'll feel a little more well-rested and relaxed. on that exact topic i think im going to go clean and reorganize everything in my room. go through it and trash some stuff. usually makes me feel refreshed. then shower, bed, and work bright and early tomorrow.
I was thinking about it
Out of all the members of the BSC
I play the least by far
osis>far osis rpt going good
ss Osis >ss osis > ss osis not bad on both sides
I need some one to look at my torque cuz...well i keep almost breaking myself
Footed:
Flipside dyno
farside osis >dyno
(barefoot) Datw 3 times
very close to Butterfly>ducking butterfly
also playing in a medium sized room with furniture so not that much room to move around
for torque- set it real close to yourself (it should peak just above and in front of your hip on whichever side your doing the miraging dex), then just do a strong rotating mirage and spot it on the osis right before your back turns to the back, pop it up at the end. simple :wink:
