I don't like that vid because it feels/sounds too new age(y) to me; too hippyish. I like spinning poi. It's fun and takes some practice to get good at. I learned how to spin by using 6 inch glowsticks on shoe laces.
Juggling seems boring to me.

We have winter in IL too, and as a 16 year old girl I wasn't allowed to play with fire in the house. Silly parents. Plus you can't do as many wraps with fire poi.

it can be interesting if you are good but from my experience its ultra boring and i dont get the point. the people that do it are usually really really wierd/ not my scene.
I just thought it was kinda neat. I'm more interested in learning Chinese Whip Chain like in the movie Iron Monkey. This is just a cool non-violent alternative.
