Too much has happened since I last posted. :?

I've been on a crazy roller coaster I spose.

I did that footbag performance, I performed with this great beatboxer that I was really impressed by. I don't think I did that great, or that the crowd was ready to connect that much. I can also understand why though, it was like.. 10AM and they were all frosh (first year students (and in this case at York University(which is kinda near Toronto))) and at some club fair thing and then up we come onto the stage they'd set up. So they were all like all new to eachother and not really gelled enough to be getting worked up into a froth together yet. The performance was like.. minutes (it felt like a lifetime) of him soloing to lead me in and then eventually we had this signal that I was waiting for, some count down of sorts. I sorta dropped right at the start and I think that must have made them think 'aw this guys gonna suck', but then I dropped a second bag to my toe and went right into some tiltless and I distinctly heard a pick up in the audience reaction.

Oh yeah, and I performed wearing my new Quantums and a pair of tight knee-length cut off jeans and my green hackrifice shirt. I wanted to look like a dude, not a crazy athlete.

Anyways, it was filmed and I'm told I'll get to see it. He offered for me to do the noon show that would feature the breakdancers until later he realized he'd sorta overbooked the second show so I'd be redundant at that point. So he slipped me a cheque for $120 we shook hands and I was off! Also, he gave me $10 extra in cash because I had mentioned I was almost out of gas and had no cash.

That day sorta went on forever. I did some errands and stitched some stuff and later met up with Liam to hack and hang out. That led to a whole pile of fun including meeting two of his friends, both of whom tried my fixed gear with much interest. Actually, one of the people was more of a re-meeting because we went to the same highschool and knew each other a bit. Anyways, he's a pretty interesting story too, but perhaps that's better left for another day.

I want to cut the talking about this particular day short and mention that I hit bling blang both sides finally. :)

Also, I want to cut to the chase, Peng and I broke up.

Today there's no wind in my sails..

Is this my chance to finally step up and take control of my life for real finally? We are still *something*, kinda like how we started, but that's mostly because we couldn't ever just feel nothing for each other. I think this is where her and I make a run for it and shoot for the moon. :)

Maybe some day I'll be more responsible and dependable and the kind of guy she wants. It's crazy to think I stumbled across her almost exactly 2 years ago, what a hard find to let go of! I guess we had to be honest and recognize that it was inevitable if we were planning to move to different continents anyways. We still love each other alot.

I am calling it now, Pengpeng Du is going to be some mega gigantic superstar of some sort. I know the potential this little girl has, truly stunning sometimes!

That said, I have also set my sights majestically high.

Anyways, we are both super in debt and need to raise money to, you know, keep surviving and all that so it'd be super great if people bought bags and shirts and hoodies from us! Please! :)

Hmm, maybe typing about the sitch has been sorta therapeutic for me. I've been feeling super blue today. And I was trying so hard just to get myself rolling, to do the things I had to do.. I did some of the stuff, I guess now that I've let some of this out I feel a bit lighter, maybe I can get something done.

You know what though??

Why DON'T I step the fuck up?? I need to do several things to make ground towards 'growing up'. I need to take serious financial control of my life. I suppose that means getting a job, that was the main thing I was to be working on today like every other day. I need to work for maybe 2 or 3 months until the paperwork for Germany has gone through. I need to work as hard as I can to save up money to move away forever. I've got things pretty figured out on the other end. I can go into that more later.

I need food or something.

No, I need to go take pictures of all the products that I screen printed so that everyone can see it and start drooling/sending me money. :P

*deep breath*
Remember to breathe Tom..
sigh

Group hug? :|

I still love you Tom. You're amazing and I don't regret a single minute of the 2 years we've known each other from the moment I laid eyes on you playing footbag. But we're both moving onto big things and there's no reason for us to be hung up on obligations and responsibilities and worries for one another. Being responsible for our own lives will be our first step towards greatness.

Could it be fate? ... maybe??

Only time will tell. The world awaits!

That really means alot, thanks Peter.

Let me share an absurd story.

Two nights ago my new friends Liam and Andrius (dre) were driving in dre's dads new Lexus when "Ghostride the whip" came on...

Liam was like "man, i'm totally feeling this song!"

And that prompted them to ghostride the lexus... INTO A POLE!!! Yes, they managed to scrape up the side of the brand new lexus ghostriding it.

The funniest bit for me is knowing how incredibly smart these two actually are! Oh boys! :P

Racketbag:

I forgot to mention it but totally one of my highlights of world's was that so many people tried racketbag with me!!! :D

I think Peter Irish was the first to take to it, he just stepped up and had a giant session playing with all the different concepts. Fuck, I love it when people humor me and try these goofy things I'm doing.

Throughout the week I wound up playing alot actually. Often it was a performance for a roomful of bored/lazy footbag players that wanted entertainment but I was mostly okay with that. I would often schraeg (like shred) for a while and then do my best to pass the racket off to someone else to take over.

One proud moment for me was when Pete and I were sessioning and after I had a particularly big/impressive string I went to pass it off to him and he was like "I can't go after that!" or something and it made me feel like I was Vasek passing the footbag to someone.

Also, Peter brought a whole bevy of fun toys to manipulate and goof off with. I think my favy trick I learned was two-point balancing. It started with me balancing two sticks, one on each hand and then I balanced one on the end of the other stick while holding the one on the bottom. From there I started trying to balance the two sticks vertically on top of eachother but I couldn't get it. So Peter started trying it too and we moved over to the juggling clubs where Pete discovered that it totally was possible by pulling it off for a few seconds! So from there I also learned the trick, I found that looking at the body of the top club worked most effectively. I even managed to pull this double balance off on my chin!
(one of my hardest balances to date)

Ooh, the other day I did a two-point balance with two incredibly heavy square slabs of square stone. Half the challenge was holding the weight on one hand!

I want to shred today.

Wait, one last thing about how great Peter Irish is.

The day we left florida we knew that we would have to stop somewhere halfway home to crash for the night since we only had 2 drivers on the return trip instead of the 3 we had on the way down.

So off we went with the thought that we would probably be able to track down some footbag player in the right part of north america to crash with.

We toyed with the idea of calling up holly and brian, but we had to be honest and recognize that they were a little too far out of the way, but it'd have been fun!

Anyways, we wound up calling up PI and to our delight he was STOKED to have us come crash with him! Yes!

We got in at about 1AM and he welcomed us with big hugs and glee. We hung out and had some tasty beers while watching some crazy juggling videos all because this is the greatest sport in the world.

I am pretty satisfied with where my life is at so far.

I can't wait to do gigantic things. I've got some lofty goals!

Mosher dont let life get you down, I had sort of a similar accident, On the night of my good buddys birthday we decided to go out and have some beers.........skipping the drinking all night long part...................... I decided to drive my buddy home and slid off the road, throgh a telephone pole and rolled my truck about 400 feet later. I did have a 1997 ram, magnum v8 5.2L. The truck was mint and now its pop-cans or something. I also was charged with impared driving and have lost my lisence for a year.

The best part of the whole situation is I am an apprentice automotive serice technition and I work at a Dodge dealership........... I am very lucky to have kept my job.

The best advice I have gotten is--------The truck is replacable but life isn't.

As for the girlfriend situation. My girlfriend was in a rollover accident a couple years back and shes scared if you drive over the spped limit, a day after the accident when I finally woke up she left me. A year solid with the girl and on the worst day of my life she left me. we are still best friends and hang out alot but it is going to take me a long time to earn her trust back. The only advice I have for you is to consentrate on everything positive and enjoy every second you have just to spent with her. It helps it hurt less. You both have a common interest so tap into that and expand on it, if it is ment to work between you both relize it eventually.

Hey Ben, I am pretty sure I wasn't in NY driving a white van recently. It's nice to know you're thinking of me though.

Wakahakee preparations are going great!

It's all going down tomorrow, how thrilling!

I love putting footbag events together, you just point a pile of awesome people at some spot you've picked and then watch the fun happen as they all smash together.

8)

I have everything pretty sorted out too, which is satisfying.

Camp Wakahakee is tomorrow, today I am meeting a new Oakville shredder, we'll be going to the Adidas outlet to pick up his first lavers as the first thing we do together! hehe

Gosh, I love footbag!

hey Tom, I'll (still) buy a BSOS hoody from you.
See what you have left from the event and send me a PM or MSN, we'll sort something out.

I think that something I want to do in my footbag days is to go to an event you're organising. Your boundless enthusiasm alone is enough to drive an entire event. Props

I have eight tons of pressure on me from every side and the only outcome will be that I am popped out and launched away forever.

I want a job for one reason, to make a handful of people shut the fuck up.

I want to be so far away from here right now. I am so tired of being hounded and bashed and judged.

I want to be so far away from the negative energy being flung at me pointlessly. :(

I try incredibly hard to make the world around me better and to share my fortune with others and in the end I am bashed. Bleh, nobody will be able to complain about me when I am gone far far away.

At least that's the hope..

hey, all the way home I wished I'd bought a shirt. So, I will take one. If you want to go to paypal and send a fund request to [email protected], I'll get that shot over to you.

it was great to see you this weekend. your game was looking good. I had a lot of fun doing our little warmup circle because I actually played decently while I was cold.

I loved the jamout, too! thanks for encouraging so much music, and hooking me up with a tent, and everything else. you're the man. I'm going to miss you when you're gone.
