my biggest problem is that i hit long strings but i never devote much time to learning new components.

this has the twofold effect of tiring me out quicker & stunting my progression in variety.

it's been better lately, i'm really happy that fairies are becoming easier, and spinning on the one side is pretty decent.

sesh today?

I feel the same way about myself, Greg. Your blenders look really solid, by the way. Not sure if I mentioned that. Yes! Have a session!

thanks pat ) i <3 blenders!

edit: i had a whole thing written here, it got deleted somehow while getting posted. it was something along the lines of

OMG JOHN DERRICK how did i play for 2.5 hours today??? i feel great, definitely playing tomorrow. it felt like a breakthrough session for me. i want to play every day now to keep what i learned today fresh in my mind.

i hit a bunch of stuff today, but mostly i'm excited about spinning!

ducking clip > spinning clip bsos, and my spins out of other moves were all good sets, even if i didn't land them.

NEW GOAL: Play every day until March 21st while maintaining cross training & full bodily health.

i missed a day. all the events leading up to it & shortly afterward signified a breakdown in a solid developing routine, fortunately resumed. )

today was a good day. it was, after all, National Keep Your Back Straight Day.

drifter -> whirl bsos + zulu clip -> paradox whirl bsos + blur -> pixie osis + paradox blender

drifter -> blender bsos
drifter -> blender -> drifter bs
spinning clipper -> double leg over ( footed )
atom smasher ( footed )
ripwalk x 3 ( finally getting proper stepping form...occasionally. )
diving whirl bsos + tomahawk

What a huge session.

A whole week passed without a single day of footbag. My shinsplints or whatever they were are finally gone (temporarily). I was siked for this shred. We all played good. Derrick was a bit sleepy and Greg took a while to warm up but once we got going WE GOT GOING.

In total I played for 4 hours. Today my muscles are feeling the pain of recovery. That was most likely the longest shred Greg has ever had. We hit a bunch of shit, yah, great time.

SOO MANY MUSCLE CRAMPS. Can't wait to go and do it again. Even harder.

PS Derrik, It's one touch not 100000000000000000000 touch.

Peace

I think Greg Raymond is going to take over the world! I can't wait until me and him and Derrik go to a tourney together!!!

New Years Jam may be? New Years Jam may be?
Hey who want to go to the New Years Jam may be?

Derrik, Greg, and I hit so much new shit every session that there's almost no point in writing it all down. Way to much to remember.

Uhhh... Greg: paradox whirl>blender bsos
mid string diving whirl
spinning clipper>anything
DATW BS, Greg tried it and came close a couple days ago. Then he stopped trying it and I was like "No, keep going, don't stop till you hit it" because thats how I train, duh. Then he hit it for the first time ever.

I'm working on ferries right now.

OH yah, when I went to Montreal I hit:

PIXIE DOUBLE SWITCHOVER and PS WHIRL
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

This club's blog is rusty.

Hey Kingston dudes, footbag!

We could use this blog to communicate shred times and our schedules so that we can better plan things ahead of time. The FAT club does this a lot in their blog. Just include how you felt last time you played, what you expect to accomplish next time you play, where you want to play next and a few time frames that best suite your schedule.

Like this:
Last shred at JDUC was really productive. Next shred I will focus more on longer strings. My back needs some rest so Thursday is no good for me. Anytime after 4:30 on Friday I'm open for shred.

The last session at the Jduc made me realize that im only gonna use one pair of shoes, otherwise i throw my game off. Thats probably why my last 2 sessions have pretty much sucked, haha.

Last night i hit ducking pdx symp mirage, and then ducking pdx symp illusion first try. Those were pretty much my only highlights, other than that, it seems like i was trying stuff that was too hard for me since i couldn't get in a focused groove.Hopefully its the shoes.

Anyways, same with John, my backs killing me, i hurt it at work, so i cant play, plus my ankle was really sore at work for some reason, so i want to give it time, peace out.

worrrrrrrrd.

footbag is lols, muchly i enjoy altho sumtimes me brainmeats go poof with possibilitiiiii.

last night was good shit. i especially enjoy you folks getting all up in my face about keeping my toe game super close to my body.

toe to clip transfers are getting way better as a result. drifters are my bitch. luckily for them i treat them with much love & respect.

i would be tempted to play today, but apparently our makeshift gang has been disassembled by back pain. l2p, folks. l2p. rest up! friziiday will be wondiferrissical.

Ok, so not playing for 4 days, can never happen again, cuz i sucked when i solo sessioned the next day. I hit ducking butterfly x 17, which was definitely the only highlight that day. I also found the secret bridge at the university, which was sweet..

no w yesterday's session was sweet, felt back in the groove. I love to kick the bag until I find my balance. I never ever did that before. I like it alot, and plan to do all the time before stalling the bag. well maybe after a few attempts at tatw bare foot. haha.

I hit smear> pixie ss mirage rpt, and smudge> pixie illusion rpt  I hate my flip EVERYTHING.. I also hit my flip ducking symp mirage which was cool. the only other thing that i can remember twas that i hit whirring swirl, which really hurts when i miss the swirl, I smoke my foot off the ground every time.

Let me know when you guys wanna to play next.

I agree with the fact that not playing for 4 days is bad. But don't judge your shred session but only hitting very good things. If form is always on your mind when your playing that you will always be improving. If your jumping up and down for an extended period of time and your muscles feel even remotely tired than you are improving.... blah blah blah

Ok so my legs are so tired. 3 hours of sleep then going to work was a bad idea after a night of footbag and drinking. Tomorrow I will be fully equipped to shred.

It will have to be at 4 pm. That is the ONLY time I can play tomorrow because me and Stefan have a date at 5

Another time well spent with you guys today. I was a lil bit late for my date...YIKES...

My lower calves are showing a TINY sign of that pain that I thought had healed. I think a day of two off and I'll let you guys know how I'm feeling.
