Question: Does person a who sends postcards to persons b and c also recieve postcards from persons b and c ... or does he get post cards from persons k and q?

p.s.
I'll be sending out my two postcards in a few hours once I get home.

Person A sends to B and C

Person B sends to C and D

etc.

But rest assured, the plan is that eventually you'll get a chance to reply to the people who sent you cards. I remember last time I was a bit keen, and also when it started looking like it was going to fold, just sent out cards to a lot of the people who sent me them anyway, but that shouldn't be necessary this time. Although since more people will get on board, things will get more complicated, and you may end up sending cards to the same person before completing a full round.

I sent mine yesterday :)

I'm considering basically reversing the sending order next round; so people immediatly respond to the people who sent them cards (we would need 2 more new people for it to work out as well). Do people think that's a good idea, or should we try to create as many links between people as possible, before responding?

Cool. Can people post when they do get cards, so that I know who has received them, and so as to encourage more people to join :)

Cheers

There's no set date, but shall we say the weekend of December 1st? There is a massive beer festival on December 1st in Hobart, so it's pretty likely that I will be a day or two late in sending them out, but as close to that date as my liver will allow :)

Bit slow, sorry, but just a major bump asking everybody who have not sent out cards to do so in this week. New round will start this weekend!

I wasn't in the first round, but I guess the rules aren't clear to me. You send out post cards and then when you recieve you reply to those with more post cards all in a single round? Or just sending out like how it was done before?

You don't reply to the cards you get (I mean you can, but it's not part of the exchange) you just send out cards to the people who are named in the email I will send to you. Then after a period of time, I send you another email with more names that you send cards to.

Is everybody clear on this?

Ok so it was a rather hectic week for me. However I'm going to go ahead and work out every bodies cards for the second round.

If you didn't receive 2 cards, please let me know, and I'll hassle people. If you didn't send out 2 cards, please send those cards as soon as possible. If you're unable to send out cards, please let me know and I can change things.

If you want to get on board, you've missed out on round 2, but round 3 will begin in January sometime I guess, and you're welcome to get on board. You just need to send me an EMAIL with your name, forum name, and address written exactly as it should appear on the postcard (including what should be on each line). I have about 30 different emails you can choose from, but either owheelj at footbag dot org, owheelj at gmail dot com, beast9 at gmail dot com, or hobart at ausfootbag dot org would be perfect. Please don't PM me.

I was blocked out of my e-mail for about a month and a half and finally have access again...never use university based e-mail systems.

postcards will be sent. I apologize for their lateness but there's nothing I could have done

Kevin makes an important point.

So that I can keep track of things better, I send out all the details of who to send cards to via email - most likely whatever email is registered with footbag.org. Everybody should keep those up to date and when I post that I've sent out the emails, check to see if you've got one, and if you haven't, let me know!
