Maybe people have a different idea of what modified is used for. I use it mostly as a communication tool. Saying hi, giving props or just plain talking shit to my friends. It seems that some want to use it as a strict information resource with less clutter, which makes sense. Efficiency.
I don't even play 1/100th of the footbag I used to, but I still have friends in footbag. I'm going to continue making "pointless" posts without matching it in time spent playing because that's what I want to do.
And also, if you have nothing to contribute like myself, should you just never post? Not everyone can be/wants to be as good as Davey Claves.
Oh and it's a hackysack forum. How long can you possibly talk about some polish guy hitting nemesis before the conversation strays to how to perform cunnilingus. That's just physics.
I don't know about you, but I don't count the dexes and delays that my tongue does at any given moment in time.

there are about 301857 posts on this forum, thats 11.5 years worth of 20 minute session. Do you think footbaggers, in all, with all the time ever played by anyone has added up to 11.5 years of shredding? I know it has obviously been around for more than 11.5 years but footbaggers arent constantly having sessions, they shred for 1,2,3 hours and stop. what i'm saying is. has there been 100,740 hours of shred in the history of footbag? it may seem like a small number...but think about it. maybe im totally wrong. maybe someone could come up with a valid estimation? That would be kind of fun.

If there was only 24 people in the world who played footbag and each person played for an average of 1 hour per day, every day, it'd take about 11.5 years of footbag to cover all those posts.
I think more than a total of 24 hours of footbag is played around the world daily.
Well, I'll sacrifice 20 minutes of my time (schooling basic kicks in my small space) to make this post:
If given the resources, you would bet your ass I will be playing footbag more often.
If given a clean bill of health without risking it sweating in 40 degree Farenheit weather plus wind chill, I will be playing footbag right this moment.
So far, the only shred space I have at the moment is a 3.5 ft. x 3.5 ft. of floor space that I'm sitting next to right at the moment, and I can barely do a mirage without hitting a stairway post, a wall, a doorway, and the pile of shoes/footbag shoes that I wear day in and day out. Then there's the risk of falling down the stairs if I end up tripping for some reason (yes, the shred space is actually on top of a flight of stairs, and yes, I did fall down the stairs once).
If I can find affordable underarmour for both my upper torso and legs, I would spend that for footbag and play outdoors. Of course, I need a well-paying job that can amount to the costs of both items of clothing. And stitching bags doesn't pay squat.
Anyway, I'm going to school 20 minutes for this post, and another 20 minutes for regretting to sound like a little bitch. That's just my opinion about myself.

I played for 3 hours today and at least a hour every other day. I have some credit coming to me. Plus I don't like to type. I use modified for alot of reviews and a place to get players bags. You can't find that anywhere that i know of....but here. And I have bought a few bags from about everyone. But I been waiting along time for this one guys bag. Over 4 months now. So.......

ive been on modified for about 9 months.... thats 270 days. i have 520 posts. so that means ive posted an average of 1.9 times a day. so i should play 40 minutes a day. i usually play about 30 a day on average, considering somedays are 10 minutes and others are 6 hours with yogan. so i think im okay, even though im one of the most frequent posters. my reasoning behind all my posts: i love footbag, passionately. and this is the hq of all that is footbag, bags, videos, shoes, people who are my friends that play footbag. so besides actually playing, this place is one of my favorite things. thats why im here so much. most of my posts are at like 12:30 at ngiht..... too late for me to be playing, but fine to be posting on my laptop in bed. so i guess ill play that extra 10 minutes im supposed to, but i think ive proven that even as one of the "worst" posters here, im not that far from what youve said. footbag.
i did the math, and for the record, david posts an average of 1.3 times a day since he joined.
For the record if I post 1.3 a day, that means like 25ish minutes a day, which means roughly 3 hours a week, which I do easy. There have been weeks in the summer where I've put in more than 25.
That's just physics.
