Good Morning Blog!
Yes, I'm talking to my blog. No, I'm not crazy. *shifty eyes*
I played footbag on the weekend! But only for about ten minutes. I wanted a longer session saturday afternoon, but once I started playing I just lost the drive. Didn't really hit much. It's possibly that's why I lost the drive. pixie>mirage>pixie>mirage>drop. I can only hit the first four contacts of my shred 30. I have no idea what I'll attempt for sick 1 or 3. Is there really any reason for me to go to ShrEdmonton? Especially since I'll only be going for one day? I'll go. And I'll train hard to do it. Since I'm nowhere near guiltless I'll one again be playing in the intermediate level. Meaning it should be an easy win. *sigh* I think I'm actually worse at this point than I was last year. Maybe I'll just go open for the hell of it. It's notl ike an intermediate win would do anything for me. On the footbag front, yesterday morning I was thinking about all this stuff I should try and was genuinely excited to play in the afternoon. But then I had like a three hour nap with my wife.
Then we had supper and she was looking at the guide and decided to wath Star Wars as it was on Spike. I couldn't leave after my wife chose to watch one of my favorite movies that up until recently she has shown little interest in. So I watched Star Wars with her. When it was over it was only 8:30 and I was like, ya . . . I can still play now. Just then, they showed a preview that Empire Strikes Back would be on next Sunday. Natel looks at me and says, "Wanna just watch it now?" I was torn. . .
Play footbag by self --- watch great movie with me wife and get her a little bit more into SW?
I watched the movie. She's even getting into the extended universe through the audio books we listen to on the drive to work. I think she really likes piecing together the things and characters that the movies alood to as we read the books. She actually showed an interest in some comics I was reading the other day. It's awesome
If you hadn't guessed by now, I am kinda a big Star Wars geek.
