New page. We'll start with something real.

Josh and Erik, thanks for your opinions. :)

I don't really have any good friends at my high school. I don't really like any of them either, but it kinda sucks. My only true connection with people is footbag. That's kind of sad I guess.

I just want somebody to talk to about stuff. The internet gets old after a while. I also should get a job. Ugh.

Every school year I feel like I start over with people, like I forget everything about them and they don't even remember me until I say hi or something. I guess I'll try and make a good friend at school next year. Maybe this summer.

Wee. I'm not depressed or anything, and it doesn't really bother me that much. I'm sure a few people know what I'm talking about.

Thanks Aleksei.

If anybody is interested in a pair of 8.5 blue mesh lavers, pm me. They are pre-modded with no toe walls and have some orange and black sharpie on the sole, where it used to be white. No insoles.

I'm trying to get to US Open, and I would rather have no shoes than miss a footbag tournament.

Does anybody know the shred30 formula? I remember finding it on here once before but I couldn't this time...

www.footbag.org/worlds2005/playerinfo.php

Quote:
Shred 30 rules
In shred 30 the goal is to reach as high score as possible. No top limit is involved. The players score will be counted according to a formula: adds + (uniques * add ratio), where adds mean the total number of adds you manage to hit in 30 seconds, uniques mean the amount of different unique moves you will hit and add ratio comes from a formula: adds/contacts. wont be any limit for contacts.

The scoring starts when a player hits/tries to hit his first visible move (basically first 3 add move or higher). For example toe->clip->ripwalk, where ripwalk is the first visible move and toe->clip are preparing moves. If a player drops preparing move it is counted as a drop and time starts from there. Also limit for preparing moves is two. If player hits toe->clip->clip then time starts from the second clipper. All drops/handcathes will be counted as 0 add contacts. Time starts from first contact/attempted contact.

More specific rules
-Only 3 add moves and higher will be counted as unique tricks. Adds will be counted normally from every trick even if its 1 or 2 add move
-Drops arent uniques
-No x-dex will be used
-Barfly, paradon, double over down and down double down all ending to same side clipper are only one unique trick (and their symposium versions too). Also reaper and double switch over will be same trick. So setting surface doesnt make more uniques in those tricks. Means also that hand toss dod is equal to normal dod and therefore not a unique trick.

This rule doesnt affect on moves with a set! fairy ss butterfly<->tapping butterfly are still two unique moves, because they have different sets (fairy<->tapping). Also paradon and tapping butterfly are 2 unique tricks.
-The last move of your run will be the one last *set* before the buzzer

low on the page.

Had some shitty sessions lately, minus one really good one.

Working atomic right now.

Dude, don't you think getting that proper videocamera would revolutionize your videos :) . Anyways, tripwalk swirl and spinning swirl are both really nice moves.

Yes, I do think that. ;)

Thanks.

I love root beer.

I doubt I'm going to make it to the open. Mixed emotions.

Retraction of previous statements.

I am in love with root beer, and I'm still maybe going to the open.

I played racquetball for the first time in a while today. lots of fun. no footbag tonight though, too sore from r-ball.

Root beer is the best beverage invented. And you should go to USO. All the cool kids are doing it.

I guess I'll post some highlights. For the first time in a while.

- PDX Torque bs (again)
- Pixie Whirl>Gyro Mirage rpt
- Plasticman>far swirl
- Barrages are getting clean
- Blazing Butter
- Ducking Clip>Rev Swirl rpt
- Blender>Swirl rpt

I don't feel like I've improved in a while. Footbag low point I guess. That sucks to have it in the middle of summer.

if the latest hot swirl variants and your last posts' drills dont do it for you,
it would be fair and just to define improvement :D .

Yeah, but stuff like quantum has gone down the shitter. I can barely do 3 toe blurs now.

Thanks for the post anyways.

Goals before summer ends:
- Whirl War 2
- ducking clip>diving clip 30 contacts
- spin clip>gyro clip 20 contacts
- rip>stepping ss 30 contacts
- 5 fearless (should be easy...)
- Fog bsos
- far swirl and blender both really solid. Enough for midstring in lots of strings.
- Food Processor bsos
- PDX Egg bsos, flip Pigbeater

Extension of goals:

- Atomsmasher x 6
- Rubberman
- Toe Blur x 10 (at least)
- Flails midstring-worthy. And not hurting my shins.
- Less strong smear, more flip smear

I can't, actually. My flip atomic is still not too great. I'm working it though.

Highlights from recent session:

- dropless shred:30 (it's a rather large score)
- flip swirl is really easy now
- stepping is getting easier. I never noticed before, but it takes a lot of energy.
