Played again today for about an hour. I really have to find a close place to kick at. Constantly playing on the slanted parking garage can only be bad. There are tennis courts but they're a long distance-ish. Walkable, but not when I want to play in between classes.
Today I mostly worked on getting my concepts to the level that they were at in climas. My spinning seems to not be phased at all and only continues to get better/more consistent. Spin > gyro > rpt is getting very smooth. I'm able to do my whirls more of less fine but I drift when I go for consecutives, especially on flipside. That could be due to my sloped playing surface but who knows.
In climacools, I didn't particularly have to aim where to catch on certain clipper moves. In lavers I definitely have to do my best to catch in the same spot every time. It's definitely and obviously the key to infinity and osis and such. It was very key for zooming. I can pretty much zoom with my strong osis (left osis) as easily as I could in climas, but with flip (right osis) I have to make sure to turn into the osis enough, to solidify the delay. Otherwise, it just rolls to the ground.
I finally freaking got smear > plo > rpt again. After 3 sessions, my pixies are starting to become consistent again. I'm definitely getting a lot of straight sets so thats good.
I ended the day with going for a 20+ contact string since I had only worked on drills and such all session. I got a 23 or 24 contact strict after a few tries and called it quits. I had to shower to go to class.
I can confidently say that I'm making progress with my lavers. I sure do miss being a cool climacool user though

Hopefully I can get to a good confident level by east coasts. On that note, hopefully I go to east coasts. I really want to at this point. I definitely should be able to find a way.
Have a good one
