:D

Hey man , glad u want more videos .. I have been posting about one a week in FB but have been lazy about the blog...I will start posting regularly again soon ..I do a little bit of something footbag oriented almost everyday but I've been having less sessions due to work and music......have been enjoying playing my saxophone alot lately so less footbag but still have about two 3 hour sessions a week .... I have been playing less but getting better ...I have finally begun to fix a couple holes in my game and have more to do but am at a point in my training to get back into runs with new tricks and links ....

I feel that my shred ( excluding injury) is just begging to be ok ...
I really wanted to spend enough time learning p blender and food and clipper and toe .. So now even though I haven't reached all the variations of blenders and stepping out of ripsteins , I have a decent number of links that it's time to start using . I really need to just hit cool five packs of tricks that look cool all the time .

I've recently got
Food fairly consistent but need a second trick other than ripstein
-a new p torque which was my bread and butter but was landing on my heel
-the blender to ripstein thing is cool
-some more consistency with swirling spinning tricks
-p torque to p blender which needs to be used more
-Dlos are way better, double switch
-te start of a toe game
-still pretty consistent with a long guitless string
-just started to really think about what makes a
Cool footbag run

Links I like

Swirling spinning legover>double switch
-ducking legover > double switch >dimwalk swirl
-ripped warrior >rev up
-möbius > rev up> tripwalk
-möbius > p torque , or food> p blender
-swirling twirl >bw
-uptime blizzards
-ripsteins are better
-gyro blender is super easy for me
-tripwalk > Dyno>torque>barfly>twirl>p blender> ripstein .....didn't get the whole last combo yet but hit the links
-really want to hit a couple Of dream tricks and links ...some would be inventions and some wouldn't ..

I've mentioned them before so I'll just list
Swirling gyro barroque .....i suck at barroque so this is gonna take some work
Swirling spinning ducking p torque ...got close but never hit
Nemesis...have to work on clean barflys then hit it again
Phasing spinning ducking something ...got close no hit
Swirling möbius b2b ...I can hit bs but needs more work
Swirling twirl >food repeat

Anyway...
Yes I've been playing but less unfortunately...I am about to start filming again more though ...

I just got home from a long gig and then drive three hours so I'm going I bed

Time to get some dust off of my blog and off of my legs...

tis been many moons since a session.....honestly this is the longest that I havent had an actually session in a while...I have recently been looking for a new job and it actually paid off. I play three nights a week and a sunday brunch at Copelands restaurant every week ....So between teaching at school two days a week, gigging 4 times at Copelands , two to three times with this other band, and family I have been SUPER busy....

I am also not in good shape...I usually am only about 4 weeks away from ripped though....so even it takes me five no big deal.....I have also been drinking rum and eating bad....so I feel its time for a healthy change....

today I woke up , did about 4 hours of constant work and then put the mats down for a session......

I feel so out of shape its not even funny......
Day one of playing again....
I just went through some tricks and tried to bsos them

I got these bsos
janiwalker
blurry dyno
mobius
blurriest (cleaner)
bw
p blender....oddly enough my flip p blender is harder than food
gyro blender....super easy
p guay>ddd
tomahawk
p drifter

And a new trick.....I was challenged to hit some stuff I didnt get but did hit
gyro symp swirl....felt easy and like the trick alot....next add a swirling set

I did hit swirling blender a couple times trying to hit swirling gyro swirl
also got close to mobius>p egg but need to shred more

anyway....I NEVER Get the chance to do anything on the weekends..UNTIL this weekend....since I can ...I told one of my bosses I was going to my friends wedding in Austin Texas no matter what.......so Im going....and if things keep looking up for me then maybe I will be even attending a comp or two this year....I hope so...

It felt good to play today....I have been missing it.....the only cardio I have done in the last month is roller skate.....My kids have recently got into skating so I bought a pair of quad jam skates.....I can now skate forward , backward, spin to the right, spin to the left, crossover going forward and feel ok on one leg.....and I can dance a little on them too....

Anyway ....if anyones reading ...HELLO and glad to be back.....

As far as the memory ...I can't remember much so u just keep a notebook with me at most sessions and write everything down ...otherwise u would definitely forget ...also ...I usually have a plan going in and let it get changed slightly depending on how I feel

Doesn't the paper in the notebook get all gross with sweat?

Awesome highlights. I wish I could hit the stuff you do.

I want to see you hit symp atomic rev swirling blender.

I still have a batch of cookies waiting to get made, with your name on it.

^ Thanks !!!
Sometimes the paper does get wet, but honestly I also use my phone to takes notes.....but I have to make sure that it doesnt wet too

I have thought about symp atomic rev swirling blender....but symp atomic rev up was the hardest out of those tricks for me and twirl wasnt that bad......Ill try though.......I thought about sending Jay this as a challenge.

I actually forgot about those cookies....( i shouldnt have forgot) ...I got close a couple of times , but I dont inspin that much...I wish I would have been working on this and I would have gotten it by now....I Will revisit this in my upcoming sessions....I like having a weird link to work on thats different from the rest of the stuff I do.... So .....Cookies ...here I come

May take off today to strectch and rest but will play tommorow if I dont play today....my hamstring needs to be better rested to even try that challenge......

Also ....time to fix double downs and spins...
