Hooray for hitting new concepts! Couldn't get the sauce, but I had so much fun with it last night, I'm going to put pickup/illusions to the side for a while and keep with clippers, gyro and ducking. Yes, I know, its not strictly following the footbag curriculum, but hey - having fun comes first!
Incidentally, I told Nick i liked Gyro so much because "its like your saying "wheres-it-gone... Ahh there it is" if that makes any sense". Nick, I don't think you quite grapsed what I meant by that so I'll elaborate (purely because it gives me reason to pad out this otherwise sparse post

) The reason I like gyro, and in the same respect a few other tricks, is that when timed right to a piece of music, the trick can.... how to put it.... sing that part of the song? tell a story? its hard to explain, but i see it in videos a lot, most recently in Ken's little masterpiece "Upular" (props to you for your performance at USO BTW

). Intentional or not, there's a couple of spots where Ken ducks, and it coincides with that moment in the music so well, you almost get this impression that the bag is singing that little piece of the music as it passes over his head. Gyro is one of those components that can fit well to a piece of music so well too. I like how quick and snappy it can be, and when accompanied by the right drumbeat at just the right moment in a song, can compliment that moment so well.
Well... I just read that back to myself and even Im left scratching my head a little, so if you've made it this far through my ramblings, I thank you

If it makes sense to you, even better, we're on the same wavelength and should definitly go for a beer sometime.
Oh and thank you to Marco as well! The material is most appreciated, you'll see some stunning examples of UK produced footbags soon
