Ninja Training!!!
This topic will be for people to post cool ninja tips and tricks.
Ninjas are cool, totally sweet, and make you wanna beat the crap outta people walking on the street (maybe even moreso than pirates!).
This is my first ninja-tip:
"when opening a door to sneak up on someone, you can ensure it won't squeak in the slightest by lifting the door upwards REALLY hard. it wont really move up, but it won't squeak while you open it!"
Anyone else have any ideas on how to be stealthy, wealthy, and cool?

Yes, that, and don't go barefoot, because eventually your toes will start popping (or mine do, anyway).

Semi-hard to explain tip to be invisible and get past a samurai guard:
1. Sneak up behind guard
2. Tap guard lightly on right shoulder, while leaning to the left (important: stay close to the ground at all times)
3. Wait for guard to look behind his right shoulder, and then he will either turn around there, or turn around left, looking over that shoulder as well.
4. whichever direction he turns, nimbly step around his opposite side and quickly and quietly continue on your merry, ninja way

By force of habit (OCD?), I often match my steps to some person who's walking in front of me, making my steps harder to notice. Over the years, I've gotten pretty good at it, and can sneak up on someone walking pretty effectively.

You need to be Kung Fu fighting, you jerks should be fast as lightning In fact it should be a little bit fright'ning, but you should fight with expert timing
Hi'YA
Actually #1 is ALWAYS be aware of your surrondings when you go somewear look around and figuer possible ambush points or other dagerous senarios.
This is not really a ninja thing you will learn it in any self defense course you take, I studied Tae Kwon Doe for 4 years and fought on 3 national leval tornments. I fought 3 people that were supposedly ninjas and beat the crap out of them....... ninjas are just sneaky guys with bad attitudes.

yeah ninjas dont want to fight, thats only their last resort. umm, that was a good point on the "keeping feet at the edges of walls when walking up stairs. i do that too. and even not up stairs, like hallways where i can almost stand up on the little ledge thingies that stick out of the wall like 1/4 an inch. the rest of the things mentioned were WORTHLESS!! jk but they weren't very practical.

WTF are you talking about???? all that is true.... I studied at martial arts america from ages 11-15.... I fought in the Rhode island grand nationals twice and the new york city nationals once. In other smaller tornements I fought three different supposed ninjas from a school called "ninja academy" which is two towns over from me.....
How dare you call me a liar.....

this is a military thing as well i believe, so i guess it could cross over. when in an area, such as a forest or some thing like that with many different obstacles to obscure your view, don't look around by turning your head, move your eyes. has some thing to do with your periferal vison not being changed nearly as much, which makes it easier to spot things that are moving slightly. like looking at a painting but just looking at certain parts of it. you still see the whole thing, but you focus on different areas of it.
