Marmalade is Jam.

That's the reason why footbag meetings are called jams - it's
stereotype thing.

Whats the difference between Jam and Marmalade? Is it that Marmalade is made from citrus fruits (their pulp and rinds), and Jam from any fruit?
Enlighten me please?

Unfortunately my camera isn't working right now, I would surely have posted a shot of my shoes and marmalade, though I would have gone with a traditional orange marmalade.

nah Bjoern i think marmalade is made a bit differently, and u use the skins or rinds of the fruit in making it, like you leave them in there, so its chunky when u spread it
pretty tasty!
i think its probably an English invention... but i dont know how its made really

Yeah marmalade is definitly different. I think the citrus idea is correct although I'm no expert. My mum (Sally) made the marmalade so you'll have to ask her any questions. I just eat it :D - I presume she made the apricot jam too (which is my favourite kind of jam - apart from a footbag jam) but I'm not sure - my step Dad makes a lot of jams and stuff too.

Interesting. The german word "Marmelade" equals the english word
"Jam" then.

So my marmalade is actually a jam!

Oh, I've been waiting for this. I love a good marmalade. I pretty sure they are only citrus fruits. I'd post some of my awesome orange marmalade but you know I dont have a digital camera so you guys are outta look. Time for a nice refreshing glass of water and a bucket of marmalade.
