Anyway today there was a big fire in a department store in the city, I walked past it and was on my way home from footbag when I was hit by a car. I say "hit" but really I wasn't hit at all. I was crossing the road (with a green man) and a car came around the corner without seeing me. They did see me too late and started breaking, but there was no way I could get out of the way. So I jumped backwards and then put my feet on the end of the bonnet and cushioned the impact, then as they stopped jumped backwards and landed on my feet, but then fell backwards. Everybody around came running over and were like; "are you ok," and the driver (who was on a mobile phone when he ran into me) was super apologetic, but I was like; "fuck yeah, how awesome was that!" - Car Surfing - the next big extreme sport.
It was pretty mental. I'm not sure I did the right thing in hindsight - it could have been an easy way to break an ankle. It probably would have been better to roll across the front of the car. Anyway my heart is still pumping, so I felt the need to post the story
