man, i was reading that post and getting very confused - mainly because i thought you were using "ne" as some sort of slang for no. why would you abreviate "any" - it's only one less letter!

i used to skate. this pretty much sums up my last year of skating...

started doing hand rails, landed some, fell, hurt my knees, healed, started doing hand rails again, landed some, fell, hurt my knees, healed, stopped skating, started playing footbag.

I used to skate halfpipes back in the 80's in Va Beach. The skate scene was huge in Va Bch...there were so many halfpipes in neighborhoods that the city built 6 huge ramps in parks in the city and hosted huge pro events yearly. I remember Rodney Mullin skating this skinny little board doing what he called "freestyle"...which is the roots of modern street skating today. And what he was doing on the board was in some ways similar to a footbag freestyle routine. He stayed in a small circle on the street and performed combinations of tricks. It was dope. Also at the time everyone used big fat boards. Tony Hawk competed at age 15 i think. All the old skool was there, Lance Mountain, Caballero, McGill, Hosoi, ect. So skating was huge in my hometown. I skated daily until the second time I broke my arm. :( While in a cast I picked up an old footbag  that had been laying around for years and that was the end of my skating career.

I got decent...I could land moving kickflips, several stalls, 180 backside ollies...Rails were never my forte. My biggest trick landed while standing still was a triple kickflip and my ollie while still was a couple feet in the air.

I don't skate anymore though, too damn expensive. It was fun while it lasted though.

I think we all owe skating a huge THANK YOU! It's brought a few great player's into this sport.

As a side note, I used to skate a bit but was mostly just messin' around on it, nothing too fancy.

I skate everyday and hit some new stuff lately. i can 5-0 grind a ledge, ive done some nosesides too.., 50-50 180 out a ledge, backside 180 over a cone. shove it to 50-50 a ledge, kickflip off curbs, nollie 50-50 a ledge, nollie of curbs, shove it to bordslide a parking thing, lipslide, nollie bs 180 and nollie fs 180.. fakie 180s., working nolie flip, switch flip, can switch shove it, 180 fs. i got cabalerials (fakie olie 360) now too.... i did one going from flat to an embankment which i was pretty stoked on.. I boardslide to fakied the rail at the park in venice. Im still working on the more technical stuff like varial hell, Inward heel (omg), 360 flips, hardflip, frontside flip, etc. ive hit a 360 flips before though... I want to have some more technical stuff and bigger stairs, ledges, by the end of summer. yea, yea, bla, bla...fun stuff.

It looks as though everyone has had their skating days. I kinda still skate occasionally and i can land: kickflips, pop-shuvits, fs 180's, bs boardslides, 180 to axel stalls and probably some other stuff i can't think of at the moment.
