Welcome back to footbag! I'm curious as to what kind of tricks people did back then and when some of the advanced tricks started coming around??

Things were a lot different in the mid 80's when i first started playing. Where I lived the first exposure you got was with a Hacky Sack so for the ...

Eh, the show blew ass. It's just another lame ass reality show, except in this one a lot of the people actually DO have talent. And they're judged by Moesha, Baywatch dude, and some wanna be Simon Cowl(sp).

After seeing how bad it was, I'm almost kinda glad I didn't see Lon up there getting dissed ...

IMO it depends on what your main game is. If you are just going to be in a circle or be a freestyler then you will have to learn with different size bags. I use to be into net and I loved the old pigskin Kangas from the late 80's that were hard as a rock but flew like a bullet off the foot!

If you haven't seen it already, you can show your daugher Shreditas.com to give her more inspiration, if needed. It's a site dedicated to girls who play footbag!
Someone else posted that and yes I will have her check it out. I am still waiting on my orders so I am getting anxious

Aww... dude, I can't take all the credit. Tom makes them too. We make a pile of them to sell whenever we're in the mood. You might have gotten one that Tom stitched or maybe it was both from me. We don't know which one's who's after they get added to the pile of cuddlebags.

I mailed yours today ...

Welcome! Man footbag sounds like it's really taking off in Oklahoma. What city do you live in?

Definitely get some Lavers. Once you have a pair you'll understand why you wouldn't want anything less to play footbag in! Also, developing both-sidedness is key, get in the habit of doing every both ...
