Today I has a small training with two Intermediate guys from my Konkret Footbag club. We were practicing routines for Polish Champs. My first try was amazing! I hit everything I wanted to hit and droppped only once... On the last Legover or ATW, damn! I hate dropping at the end. My drop count today was: 1, 1, 2, 3, 1. So, it was 1,6 drops per routine. My best score ever :). For Mariusz and Sebastian Polish Champs will be the first tournament. I hope they both will play well. Mariusz's routine is almost prepared. He just need new shoes because the old ones have big holes in soles. In a week or something he will get his first Lavers, yes! His average drop count today was 9 or something but he played once for only 3 drops and the first 70 seconds was dropless, nice! Sebastian has just found a good music for him and today was the first day for him to play routines, so it was mostly freestyle. His average drop count was the same as Mariusz's I think and he also played one routine with only 3 drops :). In my opinion, they both have a real talent. I'm sure they can do nice routines on the competition.

Oh, and here is the newest Dorshbag I stitched :). Next two will be for Mariusz and Sebastian.

Today I had another routines training. When I came to our shred place it was raining. Actually, there was a thunderstorm! I met nobody there but I decided to wait. In few minutes Sebastian came. We had to wait because all our shredplace was wet. Fortunatelly, it stopped raining and after 15 minutes we started warming up. About 30 minutes later I took out my boombox from my backpack and we started playing routines. My first one was not so good. I had 4 drops. After finishing it I thought it wasn't a good day for me this day. Luckily, I was wrong :). My next routine was dropless! And the third one too! Two dropless routines in a row, nice! The fourth one had 2 drops. The last one was... dropless! What a nice feeling to hit so many dropless routines in a one session :). With a drop count: 4, 0, 0, 2, 0 and the average ratio of 1,2 drops per try I scored my new record! I'm so happy. Sebastian had average ratio like 7,5 drops per routine but he was playing a lot better than yesterday. His best one had 5 drops.

Oh, and I stitched two new bags. For Mariusz and Sebastian as I wrote before.

I'm going to stitch your bag during my canoe trip, Kiper. I go to the river on Thursday! We will be rafting till 22nd, I think, and then we will have a two day break over the Baltic sea. I go to the Polish Champs directly from there :D. That will be some hardcore days :).

I was shredding today with Sebastian, Mariusz, Werek, Krzysiek and Staroń. For me the shred wasn't so good. The only thing worth mentioning was:

Tomorrow is a big day! I'm going to the canoe trip with all this funny guys from my high school! Including Asia of course :D. I've already packed almost all my things. I had to pack also stuff for the Polish Champs. In few minutes I'll go to the main train station to buy a ticket from Baltic Sea to Wadowice where the tournament will take place. There are two different sides of Poland. This one run will last over 16 hours, god damn! A lot of free time, hehe. Please, keep your fingers crossed for me. I'd like to be in Open Freestyle finals and maybe get some medal in Sick 3 or Big 1. That's my dreams :).

BTW: I have to stitch two more 32-panel bags before going to the trip. I have no idea how much sleep will I have tonight... :(

Hey Marco. Thanks for nice words but please don't lutsch meinen Schwanz any more . Or I'm going to sprutzen auf dich!

I'm back from a really nice vacations!

From 16th to 23th of August I was on the canoe trip. Actually, it last till tomorrow but I had to leave earlier because of the Polish Footbag Champs. It was really cool there. I really like the company of people I was at the canoe trip with. It was the second time I was on such a trip. I decided to start learning to steer. Since this time I've been always sitting in front of the kayak. I think I've done a really nice job. And my girlfriend Asia said she was really proud of my skills. During the whole trip I've got only one capsize. And it wasn't as dangerous as these from the first trip in May. I and Monika, the girl I was in kayak with this day, were laughting a lot because of this experience. It was her first capsize. After four days we arrived to the Baltic Sea. We stayed there for three days. The weather was funtastic. We were swimming a lot in the sea. We were also canoeing a little bit in the sea. It was funny because waves was so big! Of course we were doing it only few meters from the beach. We were also playing volleyball a lot. Unfortunatelly, I hurted two of my fingers during one play. They still hurts a little but it's almost ok already. I'm going to post some photos from this trip as far as they came back and send me some.

On the 23th I leaved my friends and started over 16 hours lenght train journey to Wadowice for the Polish Footbag Champs. Traveling so long alone was really tiring but I don't regret it. Polish Footbag players and their tournaments are so great! I was preparing myself to this competition for a long time. I was dissapointed because of my routine and Shred 30, though :(. I dropped 3 times during the elimination's routine and they were all drops in important parts. I finished my pool on the 4th place out of 6. Only two players were going to finals. So I ranked 13th in Poland. Last year I was in finals and I was 10th. But there were only 16 Open Freestyle players last year and now there were like 24. I dropped a lot my Shred 30 and scored only like 130 points :(. 0,7 points more and I will be in finals. Damn! Marcin Bujko beat the Polish Shred 30 record. He had 235,7 points! Props to him! The good thing was that I've finally hit my Sick 3 in the competition! Dorshatrix > Conniption City > Pixie Merlin gave me the 3rd place in eliminations and I went to finals! I was really happy. In Circle Contest I don't know how but I went to semi finals :D. In Big One i hit Flying Fish and was really close to Big Fish. But other guys hit superb moves too (Symposium Whirling Matador by Szymon Kałwak - 1st place, Sailing Eggbeater by Kuba Worek - 2nd place, Alpine Bedwetter and Alpine Marius by Damian Gielnicki - 3rd place, DPS Torque by Rafał Kaleta, and so on), so I didn't win a medal. In 4 Squares i won my elimination pool. I scored all 15 points "in one run", I mean I came to the serving square and score 15 points in a row. Yeah! :) In the Circle Contest semi finals I was in a pool with Damian Gielnicki and Marcin Bujko! Two guys were going to the final. I finished 3rd so it was really far from finals :P. I've got some really nice and long runs, actually. But they were a lot better. So, I ranked 5th (with Maciek Bujko) in this competition. I was a judge in all routines finals. It was a great experience. The Intermediate Freestyle won this 12 year old guy from my footbag club, Mariusz Wilk. He played an excelent routine with only 3 drops or something like that. People really liked it. I'm proud of him. Karolina Modrzejewska won Women Freestyle. She had an ankle injury but fortunatelly for her only two other girls were competing and they didn't played as well as she did. Doubles Freestyle was terrible! Not because of the level, though. Just because of the technical problems. Damian Budzik and Damian Piechocki won it but Ostrowski brothers also played really well. Open Freestyle was impressive! Marcin Bujko and Damian Gielnicki played routines for a medal on Worlds! It was really hard to judge them. Finally, Twister was the 1st and Marcin the 2nd. The bronze medal went to Arek Dudziński (Norek) who dropped his super nice routine. Maciek Bujko was the 4th. The next places went to Kamil Wysocki, Szymon Kałwak (last year Polish champion), Bartek Bubula and Michał Ostrowski. Props to all of them! Right after routines Sick 3 finals started. I've got only few minutes to warm up. I was tired and stressed but I did it. I hit my elimination's combo again! And it gave me the silver medal! Yes, I've got the silver medal in Sick 3 on Polish Champs. Stupid Gielnik hit his awesome combo and was before me but I'm still pretty happy :D. Wait guys for the videos. The level was sooo high!

Today I was on the first training after the competition. I hit one really nice combo:

 Toe Blur > Fear > Toe Blur > Fear > Atomsmasher > Smear > Atomsmasher > Smear > run

I've also beat my Ducking Clipper record. The old one was 14. And the new one is 23! Thanks to Kamil Wysocki for showing mi some tips on Clippers! At the end of the shred I felt some pain in my back. Now, it still hurts. I think I have to do a little break in footbaging. But after few days I'm coming back to this perfect sport!

Kiper, I hope your bag will break in well!

Bad things happens to me :(. After a one week break I decided to go to shred. I played like 30 minutes and then my back started hurt again! I'm going to do another break, maybe a little bit longer this time. If it didn't help, I will have to go to a doctor. Damn it. Injuries suck! Especially when you have two Footbag shows in this weekend :(.

Before the pain started eating me I hit:

 run with Rap > Royal Assassin, Phoenix, Darkwalk > DPS Mirage and Conniption City
 Spinning DSO midrun

At this session I wanted to film myself and Mariusz and make a nice "Cod and Mariusz Special" or something. Because I had not so much footage of me I decided to play with my camcorder and do something cool only with Mariusz. Here you can watch the result:

And here's a little something from myself:

Oh, one more thing. Few days ago I stitched the best bag ever! Here it is:

I still don't play Footbag because of my back :?. It doesn't hurt me anymore but I feel it would if I started shredding. That's sad because we have some Break Dance jam with Footbag shows tomorrow here in Warsaw and I can't play :(. I'm thinking about going to some masseur. Maybe he could help my back.

Today my girlfriend asked me if I liked to go with her jogging. I was always really weak at this activity but I thought I could try. I was wondering about my back but it was all ok. The lenght of our distance was a little bit more than 5 kilometrs. We were running not so fast and finished it after 35-40 minutes. Not bad for first try ever, I think. Actually, I think I could do it faster but we were jogging with Asia's tempo. I'm sure we will repeat it soon.

I almost finished the newest website I'm working on. I think I can come back to stitching footbags. I've got a long queue :).

Hey Michal.
When you see your masseur, you should ask for some stretches or exercises to do for your back. Mine gave me a sheet with diagrams when I was having severe back pain. I think the one that he said would be most helpful for me was laying on my stomach and kind of looking up. Like he said to lay on the floor and watch TV in that position for 5 minutes.

Hi guys!

I'm slowly getting back to shredding. I finally decided to go to the professional masseur. This guy did so many painfull things to my body! But he said it would help me :D. It was yesterday in the afternoon. The result is that I could play a bit today without this stupid backache. But my back muscles are pretty tired after the massage. He said it could last three or four days but after this time it would be really good. So, I wasn't shredding super hardcore today. No Fearless runs, no new tricks, etc. During the weekend I won't play and on Monday I'm going to start regular trainings because we finally found the place in which we're able to shred day by day from Monday to Friday! That's nice.

I also back to stitching. Here's the newest Dorshbag I sewed. More will come soon.

Image

What's more? Today I finally upload final routines and sick 3s from Polish Champs 2007. You can watch them here: http://modified.in/footbag/viewtopic.php?t=17199.

Thank you Daryl for nice words! PM me about a bag if you want to buy one.

With my back is a lot better! :) Yesterday I've got a training with Wiktor and Gosia. It was really cool even though I didn't hit any new trick and didn't break any record. I think one of my combos is worth mentioning. It has four different 6-adders inside: Dorshatrix, Voodoo, Pixie Merlin and Anoxia. I'm really happy of it because my biggest ammount of 5-adders in one run is only six.

After the shred I went to Asia. We will both start soon in a big thing in our town called "Run Warsaw". It will be a big run through the city. The distance will be 5 km. There will be about 20000 people running. So, I and Asia are preparing for it. Yesterday I run with her over 5 km. It was second time ever for me to do this distance. And it wasn't as tiring as I thought it should be after a two-hour shred. :)

It's NOT better with my back .

Yesterday I shredded with the Warsaw guys and I injured my back again. I think I have to do a longer break and maybe do some exercides for my back. I played like a shit on this session. I hit two new drills, though:

 Toe Blur > Assassin > Toe Blur > Assassin > run
 Fear > Atomsmasher > Fear > Atomsmasher > run

Wiktor had a pretty nice session. I think I'm going to make a vid because I've got my camcorder on this training.

or Yoga .

Uh. I haven't posted for last few months. And I have to write that a lot of things happened to me recently. A LOT!

Well, I don't want to write a long post because I have to go to sleep. In 8 hours I'm going to have an exam. But I'm going to tell you about changes in my life...

I started studying in a new University. Now, I'm a student of Information Technology end Econometrics. This school is soooo cool. I like it 92387 times more then the previous one.

I finished my relationships with Asia...

I have a new girlfriend who is called Ewa. I'm falling in love again. The world is weird!

The only Footbag realted thing worth mentioning on this list is that I finally hit a Beast combo. You can watch it on YouTube.

And that's all. I think, I'm going to start writing here again.

Best regards to all!
